House actually has two separate living areas; a four bedroom main house with living room, den, game room, and custom kitchen and an attached two bedroom apartment with a separate handicap accessible entrance and its own full kitchen. Both apartment and house share access to an enclosed sun room with lounge seating and game table. The views from the this property look across the valley to the snowcapped Madison Mountains of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness Area towering 7000 feet above the valley floor. Located just minutes from the old west town of Ennis, Montana and blue ribbon trout fishing on the Madison River this vacation property sits on the edge of the Yellowstone Ecosystem and the mature landscaping is frequented by Bald Eagles, Moose, Deer and Antelope. Ample outdoor seating areas make enjoying the cool Montana breeze of summer a true pleasure.

Surrounded by National forest, including the 254,000 acre Lee Metcalf Wilderness area, this is a vital part of the Yellowstone Ecosystem and boasts an impressive array of wildlife including elk, deer, bald eagle, wolves, black and grizzly bear, moose, beaver, antelope, as well as many others species. Area activities include fishing, hiking, horse back riding, rafting, mountaineering, canoe and kayaking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, rock climbing, hunting, four wheeling as well as shopping and dining in the town of Ennis. The upstairs features an open floor plan. The Kitchen offers top of the line new appliances, a breakfast nook, and large island with bar seating. The dining area seats eight at a large dining table. The living room has a flat screen television and wood burning fireplace. The views from both the upper and lower level look out to Fan and Cedar Mountains both over 11,000 feet tall. The apartment has its own kitchen with island seating and is finished with terracotta tile. The property is located in a quiet area off the main road and next to open space. There is a private spring creek that flows across this property with a picnic area and native brook trout. No detail has been over looked in this luxury home on five acres.
