We have been going to Watts Bar Lake since 1978 and have rented places on the lake for the past few years, for our family. Driftwood Cottage turned out to be our most favorite place. The cottage is well located on the lake and gave us a wonderful sense of being at home. Everything represented, in the pictures and the info on the website, was just as represented.
The house is well maintained, modern and has everything you would need. The property is in a very nice neighborhood and the people living there were all friendly and helpful. The lake access is excellent to say the least, the dock and boat ramp are perfect.
We happened to pick a time at the lake when it was still in winter pool and very low, but we still were able to get our kayaks into the water and do a lot of fishing.
I would not hesitate referring anyone to this vacation home. I have read all of the other reviews and found that they all had good things to say about this property. Being the kind of family that we are we do not require much in the way of attractions or things to do. We enjoy just being on the lake and enjoying the experience it provides to us. This property most generously fulfills those needs. Rodger the owner responded to any request promptly and was very accommodating.
We very much look forward to the time that we can again visit the Driftwood Cottage.
