For kids of all ages:
Activities range from building your own teddy bear at Barefoot Landing to watching hundreds of alligators being hand fed at Alligator Adventure. At Broadway at the Beach, there is an amazing aquarium, Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood and NASCAR Speedpark. In Myrtle Beach center you can visit Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, Myrtle Waves water park and the world's first Hard Rock Theme Park with rides for all ages. Kids will love eating at Medieval Times and Dixie Stampede where they actually get to participate in the show. On the beach, a short walk from the condo, kids can rent beach tricycles and banana boats. Should it rain, there is a large cinema complex a few minutes south on Route 17.

Take a leisurely cruise along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway aboard the Jungle Princess at Barefool Landing. Go deep sea fishing, ocean speed boating or jet skiing at Little River, about 20 minutes north on route 17. Also at Little River, try your luck on one of the elegant Casino Cruises. You can try your hand at the world famous Cherry Grove Fishing Pier at the north end of North Myrtle Beach. They rent equipment. How about parasailing? They are located a short walk to the north along the beach from the condo. Live entertainment at The Alabama Theater and The House of Blues is 5 minutes from the condo. The Carolina Opry and The Palace Theater are about 15 minutes away. You can also find vineyard tours, wine tasting and horseback riding nearby.
Activities at a little distance:
Spend a relaxing day at beautiful Brookgreen Gardens about a half hour south of the condo on Route 17. Visit the battleship North Carolina in Wilmington, NC, about an hour north on Route 17. For the ultimate trip back into history, visit Charleston and include a harbor cruise out to Fort Sumter and a carriage ride through the city. If time permits, include a visit to some of the historic houses and grand plantations.
