Amenites: The 6 bedroom well appointed home plus carriage house is comfortable and inviting, with a fabulous chef's kitchen with Viking stove and stone counters providing plenty of space for everyone to cook together. An additional fully stocked kitchen on the lower floor provides versatility for special functions. The library converts to a separate bedroom area, with an additional private bedroom in the carriage house with kitchenette. Living room has 55' HDTV and stereo with surround sound. Large VCR and DVD video and CD music libraries. The Tree House with balcony and skylight is appropriate for children over 8 years old without supervision. The 2 acre property is gated and fenced. The gate is controlled by either keypad or remote control, issued at check-in. The home and linens are cleaned with environmentally 'green' products that eliminate most allergy concerns, and you'll never run out of hot water for bathing, as the home has been converted to on-demand hot water heaters.
Local Attractions: *15 minutes to Big Basin Redwood State Park *15-20 minutes to two challenging local golf courses at Pasatiempo and Boulder Creek Country Club. *30 minutes to the beaches of Santa Cruz *35 minutes to the Beach Boardwalk, where one of the world's best wood frame roller coasters is revered by coaster buffs from around the world open Memirial Day through Labor Day. *20 minutes to Roaring Camp Railroad for train trips through the redwoods and Civil War reenactments. *35 minutes to the Santa Cruz wharf, famous for their seafood restaurants and the yearly Clam Chowder Cook-off *25 minutes to Loch Lomond reservoir for fishing boat rentals *Wine tasting offered at 12 local wineries within a 20 mile radius *30 minutes to the University of California at Santa Cruz which provides many entertainment opportunities such as the Shakespeare Santa Cruz Festival in July and August and the world famous Arboretum open daily. *7 minutes to Highlands Park for the Scottish Highland Games in October

Monterey is an hour to the south if you want to see the golf courses of Pebble Beach, or the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and if you continue to travel south another 45 minutes along the rugged picturesque coastline along Highway 1, you can experience the restaurants and art galleries of Big Sur, and get you feet wet in the Big Sur River while sitting in an Adirondac chair and listening to live jazz on the weekends.
