This 1968 contemporary home offers a wooded setting just 2/10 of a mile from Perkins Cove where one can take the trolley to town or the beach, or walk the 1 mile paved Marginal Way along the rocky coast. This house feels spacious and is well designed for family or a group of friends coming together for vacation. The screened porch allows for morning coffee or dinner al fresco. This is an unusual property which feels very private but is close to the Cove.

The house is set on a quiet, wooded hill yet an easy walk to restaurants, the trolley and the ocean. Ogunquit offers the perfect summer in Maine Vacation. The beaches go for miles with beautiful white sand and natural dunes. The Ogunquit trolleys can easily take you from the beaches to Perkins Cove or the center of town. Ogunquit is known for its restaurants (from casual lobster dinners to 5 star dining) and professional theater at the Ogunquit Playhouse. The village of Ogunquit has shops, museums, antiquing, ice cream, dancing and nightlife. Enjoy a 1 mile paved walk winding its way along the coast from town to Perkins Cove.

Whether you'd prefer to spend a rainy day antique shopping or looking for bargains. you'll find both. Route One through southern Maine is known for its miles of antique shops and Kittery, about 15 miles south, is filled with outlet stores. LL Bean is a 1 hour drive away as is Boston, MA.

The whole family (8) enjoyed the setting of this nice house. We didn't feel that the neighbors were too close. What we liked alot, was that every bedroom was isolated from the other ones. We spent lovely evenings in the porch. The beach could have been closer, but the kids enjoyed the trolley! The sauna was nice too.

Tranquil setting, close to Perkins Cover

This is a very tranquil, quiet setting within easy walking distance to Perkins Cove. The home is laid out wonderfully, and can comfortably accomodate family or friends with 4 bedrooms. The house was clean and well maintained.
