We rented this unit with good intentions and were told several things that might happen...they were planning on updating the furniture (which would have meant no sleeper sofa), they changed cleaning companies, the payment for the cleaning company was coming out of the deposit instead of leaving it there, etc. When we arrived, we were told that the shower curtain rod was broken and it would be fixed within a few days of arriving. Instead, a shower curtain rod was brought to us and I guess we were expected to put it up. Then, we were accused of some things that DID NOT sit well with me and now they want to keep our deposit. I wouldn't recommend this place, nor will I return.
Owner's Response: I am so sorry that this visit was not a success. I am somewhat confused about your comment but we did as you said recently upgrade the furniture and we purchased a queen size instead of a full size sleeper sofa. We felt that a new and larger sofa would better serve our guests, You are correct that we changed cleaning companies. This was also done to better serve our guests.This same service offered to put up the replacement shower rod. Unfortunately, due to damage done during this stay it was necessary to hold back a portion of the security deposit to pay for a professional to fix the problem. We have never kept back a security deposit until now but it was deemed necessary. We have enocuntered minor problems occcasionally and have not held back any deposit but this was of a different nature.
