a great getaway

This property has everything you need. Very "Pottery Barn" in its new interior paint and outdoor paint. Picture represented does not give it justice. A romantic view. When we stayed the moon shimmered on the marsh. A bird watchers paradise. Not far from beach, not far from a fabulous restaurant.
Because it is on the marsh bring PLENTY of insect spray for yourself.
Our family of 6 loved it, as did our dog. The deck is wonderful. The owners are very nice and when there is a slight problem they tend to it quickly. Our problem was brought on by a large rainstorm, and the very next day they were right there. Problem fixed.
The house still needs a little work, especially downstairs. We did not use the downstairs bedroom at all.
I would bring my own sheets and blankets. Though these are supplied in abundance, they need to be updated.
All cooking utensils, pots, pans etc are in top shape and contemporary in style. Glassware looks brand new.
The property was clean.
We found this spot excellent for touring the area, for getting in and out of Boston for touring and for going to a South Shore Beach.
Owner's Response: Such kind words. These are the rentors every landlord hungers for: agreeable, accomodating, interesting and fun. I'm going to go to TJMaxx and get more blankets, some new sheets and towels and toss out the most elderly of the current supply. I'll put the new crop in bins to be fresh and new next summer.
I don't know what we'll do about downstairs: probably shut the door and ignore it. It is a sleeping place only in extremis since the fog simply creeps in too much below ground.
