If you enjoy the outdoors, the foothills above Boulder is a great place to stay. Hiking, mountain biking, snowshoing, rock climbing or just sitting quietly and enjoying the wildlife are just a few of the activities you will enjoy here. Boulder Falls is just down the canyon a few miles, fed by mountain snow melt from North Boulder Creek, it is a spectacular site to see. Boulder's Farmers Market open every Saturday and Wednesday during the summer is a great place to brouse for the freshest in foods and also great crafts. Chautauqua Park with its auditorium and community house offers great entertainment as well as educational programs, not to speak of there fine dining and hiking trails. The town of Nederland is very quaint. It has great little shops, restaraunts and a unique culture all its own. It is big enough that you will not have to go any further to stock up on your groceries or any other supplies you may need for your stay at AspenRidge. You will want to be sure to take Peak to Peak Highway to Estes Park and of course while you are there visit the Rocky Mountain National Park. Black Hawk and Central City are also popular attractions with the Opera House and gambling. These are just a few of the attractions in the area.
