Great beach house on Menemsha Pond. Expansive views of the pond, Vineyard Sound, the Elizabeth Islands. Deer, osprey, cormorants are among the wildlife crossing the magnificent marsh that swells and empties to the rhythm of the tides. Newly renovated, the bright and sunny house features a large deck to enjoy the views and outdoor living. The house is fun and functional in a private setting. All main rooms offer dramatic views. It's just a two minute stroll to a private beach on Menemsha pond and a short drive to Squibnocket Beach. A separate studio with twin beds is great for teenagers looking for privacy or to accommodate a nanny. The family room allows for a spacious play area and TV viewing. Magical get-away.

In 'town' the summer hub features the renowned Chilmark Store serving mouth watering pizza; and scrumptious Chilmark Chocolates is just down the road; the Community Center, welcoming children for a variety of activities; a beautiful library: books, story telling, and DVDs to borrow; banks, post office, and a restaurant. The Chilmark Flea Market twice a week: for art, antiques, clothing and jewelry. Farmers market in neighboring West Tisbury. along South Road.
