Take I-79 North then exit I-80 East towards Clarion. Exit #35/Clintonville & make a left off the ramp onto Rte 308 North to the 4-way Stop Light. #35/Clintonville Exit : Go 3.1 miles from 4-way Stop Light in Clintonville. Turn right at Kennerdell” sign (small green State Rd sign on right– don’t miss it!!) Follow road 4.5 miles & cross Allegheny River on a 2-lane bridge. At end of bridge bear left and go up hill. Follow road 5.5 miles to a 4-way Stop Sign. Turn right at the stop— the Rockland Country Store is on your right. (A great place to buy food and fishing license!) Make the first right turn at intersection onto Red Line Road. (Rockland Cemetery on left).Stay straight, crossing Potters Falls Rd. & travel down the hill. on dirt road (1.3 miles) which is now called St. George Rd. At the bottom of the hill, turn left at the mailboxes onto a private road. Go thru Stop Sign & “Guests Only” sign. Beyond stop, you’ll pass 5 houses before 'RiverWatch,' taupe siding & green trim

Cancellation & damage-control deposit: A fifty percent deposit is due at the time of booking. Your balance is due 2 weeks before reservation date along with a $200 Damage-Control Deposit. The Damage- Control Deposit will be returned upon inspection before check-out or within ten days of check-out date as applicable. A full-refund of monies will be made if your cancellation is received at least 2 weeks before your determined reservation date or if the cottage can be rented following your cancellation notice. If cottage cannot be rented, your deposit will be forfeited and any remaining payments, including your Damage-Control Deposit will be returned to you.

Very well maintained vacation getaway nestled along the Allegheny River and bike/hike trail. Just as described, has everything you need at your fingertips. If you want to relax... this is the place.

Great part of the river

I have not stayed at this location, but do own a cottage downstream and across the Allegheny. This is a great part of the river for watersports. Very little traffic except for the occassional canoe. My family and I enjoy waterskiing on perfect river conditions. We travel past this cottage all the time. It is in a very beautiful setting. I'm not much of a fisherman, but my cousin and co-owner of our cottage is constantly yanking bass, pike and walleye right around this area.

Perfect spot for a romantic getaway

We stayed here for three wonderful days in February and for us, it was the perfect getaway!

It is located out in the country, away from all the hustle and bustle, but not too far out. The location is very peaceful and quiet making it a great place to kick back and relax. The town of Cranberry is close by and offers a few places to eat out, a mall and a Wal-Mart.

The cottage itself is exactly as described and pictured. It has many nice little touches like, a good mix of movies and music, dimmable lighting to set the mood, comfortable beds, wonderful décor, a busy bird feeder for entertainment, and a great wood stove to add that special touch on a chilly night.

We were also lucky enough to see a beautiful pair of Bald Eagles on our last day too. I do not think it gets much better than that.

We are certainly going back!!
