!The Green Woods Stables Lodge is a lovely vacation rental in a pastoral setting, sitting on the edge of 35 acres of pasture land with pecan trees and ancient oaks, overlooking a dozen horses throughout the grounds! Completely furnished, wood-burning stove, antique furnishings, cable TV, nature trail, pond fishing, trail horse rides and more - bring only your clothes (and food, of course)!This is our largest home!! 1300 square feet(TWO QUEEN SIZED BED AND ONE FULL SIZED FUTON COUCH), ONE large bathrooms, 20x20 living room with a super soft sofa and . Take a walk on the nature trails passing the children's pond and into the beautiful wooded area with ancient oaks and cypress trees. Country feeling, but located within minutes of shopping, restaurants, attractions and casinos! One and 1/2 miles down the road are 14 restaurants(Outback, Chili's, Ruby Tuesday's),a 20cinema theatre and a bowling alley.

Charming Farmhouse Visit

My husband, daughter and I recently stayed in the Farmhouse for a weekend getaway in April 2011. The house is rustic, has very cold air conditioning, wonderful hot water and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful porch overlooking the pastures/horse training areas!!! My daughter rode horses and learned first hand how to care for them. She was so thrilled that she wanted to move there!!! My husband and I walked the property trails. The owner was professional, warm and friendly. Watching her care for her horses was an inspiring sight!! We are looking forward to our next get away!!!

Spring Break 2011

What a great introduction to BIloxi. Our family (parents plus college girl) enjoyed a relaxing stay in this retreat, complete with horse in the yard for our daughter who is an avid rider. Mary is a gracious hostess and we hope to return to this lovely location. The house was large and comfy, groceries easy to find/buy, Sonic Burger 10 minutes away too.

i spent 4 days and 3 nights and had a great time. if i had it my way i would never spent another night in hotel or condo. this is the way to go, the owner and her daughters are just wonderful. i felt like my girls always had something to do and i was not having to worry 24/7. I just can't say enough good about Charming Farmhouse. i hope to be back. The greco's

Great Time Away

Our Church came down to MS for a Mission trip and three families used this house for our retreat. What a wonderful retreat it was. Sitting on the porch and watching the horses made the time just more special. The owner was very hospitable and accommodated us anyway they could. We all felt we were there to give our time, however received so much more in return.

The pictures are exactly the way the property looked, and shopping and activities were close by. I would recommend this property for those looking for something quiet.
