Come and while-away the day and be invited, at dusk, by the enchanting sound of the Whippoorwill.

Our chalet style, sky-lit 'Field House' cottage is located on a most scenic and private 3/4 acre lot. Although not directly on the water, it has private access to the historic and breathtaking Severn River which is approximately 200 feet from the cottage.where there is a sun deck, dock and access to paddle boat and row boat. Launch your boat nearby and moor it at our extensive dockage area.

The swimming, fishing and boating is unsurpassed!

This delightful cottage has spacious sun decks on three sides, with built in seating and three separate sets of stairs for easy access. The south facing cottage has a variety of places for sun and shady places to rest and enjoy the natural surroundings. There are three separate patio doors for easy entry and exit from the cottage. There is a screened-in sun porch overlooking the large lawn, rock garden and treed back drop.

The cottage has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a newly installed wood laminate floor, en suite bath, two large his and hers clothes closets and is furnished with a luxurious queen size, solid pine, four poster bedroom suite. There is a sliding glass door to a private master sun deck. Greet the day from your very own 'perch'.

The second bedroom has carpeted floors, two large closets and is furnished with two very comfortable, custom made and beautiful 'pinwheel' pine twin beds.

The third bedroom has carpeted floors, two large closets and is furnished with a gorgeous brass double bed and large pine triple dresser.

The cottage has a large fully equipped main floor laundry room.

The kitchen has beautiful oak cupboards and ceramic floor with an overhead fan and four skylights for additional character and abundance of light. The dining room has gleaming hardwood floors, wainscotting and a sliding glass door to the wrap-around deck. This area is furnished with a pine table, ladder-back chairs and a large and unique dining hutch.

The sunken living room has new, large picture windows, sliding glass doors to still more deck, plus a gas fireplace for those chilly nights. It is comfortably furnished with a beautiful sofa and large upholstered chair.

This gorgeous vacation property provides scenic vistas, luxurious comfort, abundant space to relax and play and will undoubtedly provide the ambiance where memories of your time here will stay with you forever!

I and two friends spent a quiet and serene week at the Field House. It was quite spacious, comfortable and had all the ammenities of a home. The property is well maintained and the river is inviting and clean. We especially loved the frog pond! We hope to return in the near future!

Everything was excellent at the Field House.
The house was gorgous, clean and well supplied.
The view was spectacular and tranquility was appreciated.
If it is available next year I will surely be in contact.
