First Floor:
Coming into the house from the Garage, you will enter the Downstairs area. You will find a deluxe suite, complete with a private master bedroom hosting a King sized bed, TV, a private bathroom with a sitting area in the shower, and a living area with a desk, a cozy sofa and two TVs. One with Super Nintendo and 13 games, and the other for viewing TV programs via cable! There is a romantic dual sided fireplace that you can enjoy from both the bedroom and the living suite!
Second (Main) Floor:
When you enter the living and dining rooms on the main (second) floor, you will find spectacular vaulted ceilings and a gorgeous river-rock hearth surrounding a thermostat-controlled fireplace. Large windows look through pine trees to the mountains in the distance and there is a large deck off of the dining room with a BBQ and table for your outside enjoyment! In the dining room there is a large table and a bar countertop with additional seating. The kitchen has granite counters, natural cherry cabinates, and appliances purchased in 2006. It is fully stocked to cook large meals. There is a laundry room for your use with washer, dryer, Iron and ironing board.
Also on the main floor there are two bedrooms and a large bathroom with dual sinks. Both of these bedrooms have queen beds. They both have glass doors with a spectacular view over the large deck that faces the Tahoe National Forest.
Third Floor:
Upstairs there is a loft, a large master bedroom with TV, and a large private bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. There is a King bed in the bedroom along with a daybed and trundle for sitting or sleeping for two. The loft looks over the living and dining room and has another daybed with trundle.
Ski:
Our Mountain Home backs to the Tahoe Donner Cross Country Ski Area with trails less than 70 yards from the back of the home. You can ski out of the garage to the Cross Country Center to purchase your trail pass. Tahoe Donner Downhill is only 1 mile away. The 4 major North Lake Tahoe ski resorts (Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, NorthStar, and Sugar Bowl) are all within a 20 minute drive.
Golf:
Tahoe Donner Golf course is only 1 mile away. It is a beautiful and spectacular par 72, mountain/forest, course with narrow fairways and well-kept greens. There is a driving range and practice putting green. Cayote Moon is another beautiful and spectacular mountain-forest course less than 4 miles away.
