One of Folly Beach's newest and finest homes, 3 minute walk to beach, easy access to Folly Beach fishing pier, downtown restaurants and shops, and just down the street from new park. This 3200 sq ft home is large enough to accommodate large families w/ ample parking, which is superior to others in the area. The 1st floor has a grand master suite w/ jacuzzi tub and gorgeous walk in shower and a king size bed. The guest bedroom on the 1st floor has a queen bed and private bath. The 2nd floor has a bedroom w/ queen bed and a bedroom w/ 2 twins, and they share a bath. There are also 2 twin mattresses if needed. The 2nd floor also has a sitting room w/ 2 couches and TV. There are TVs in most bedrooms w/ cable, and internet .It has a fully stocked kitchen w/ granite and quality appliances. Table seating for 15 in kitchen and dining areas. Hardwoods throughout 1st floor. Lg outdoor shower w/ changing area. Front porch and Back deck w/ patio furniture. Only 9 miles from historic Charleston.

Folly is the perfect place to vacation- you get the laid back beach atmosphere, and it is just 9 miles to all the delights of Charleston. From its historical houses, museums, top of the line shopping, antique shops, The Market, mouthwatering restaurants, and horse drawn carriage rides - it is a charming place to visit. There are tennis courts and a wonderful new town park for children just down the street from the house, and another park that you can fish or catch crabs just 2 blocks away. It is an easy walk to the fishing pier and Center Street where all the restaurants are including Terrapin Cafe, Crab Shack, The Conch House, and The Snapper which has live entertainment and a sushi bar on the roof, Sand Dollar Club and the Lost Dog Cafe. The house is on 220 E. Erie St. When you come into Folly Beach, you turn left off of Center Street at the Crab Shack and the house is just 2 blocks from the main street.

Additional information about rental rates

  • $1250-$2150 weekly, $400 - $675 for 2 day weekend from Sept. 1 - Mar.
  • Weekly rentals only - Sunday to Sunday- $2150 during peak time - Weekend rental from Sept. 1 - March 31 also available for $400 - $675 for 2 night weekend.
    A $300 deposit is due within 3 days of reservation. It is nonrefundable unless cancellation is made 21 days before arrival. The rest of the rent will be due at least 21 days before check-in.

    Check in time is Sunday 4:00pm - 6:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am, for weekly rental during peak. After peak for weekend rentals check out times may change.

    As of January 2010, the tax rate will change to 11.5%. It should have been that in 2009, but we were not aware of the tax rates in Folly Beach.

Notes: This custom home is on a corner lot with only a 3 minute walk to the beach. It was designed w/ an open floor plan that offers plenty of natural light, and the expansive kitchen and breakfast area opens directly to the sundeck. It has granite countertops, marble baths and hardwood floors. All rooms are wired for phone/ cable. Weekly rates include linen service ( bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, bed sheets, and blankets) Beach towels are not included so you will need to bring your own. The age limit to rent our house is 30. Absolutely no house parties. If a house party is held, occupancy will be terminated with no refunds. We reserve the right to charge a $300 deposit to be returned if the house is in good condition upon checking out. The check in time is 4:00pm on Sunday and the check out time is 11:00 am on Sunday. We have guests checking in every Sunday during peak, so if you are not out by 11:00, we will charge $100 an hour for every hour past 11.

Family Vacation

My family was comming down to Charleston for a wedding. We decided to make it a week long family outing. This house was absolutely breathtaking. Very clean, large, spacious, plenty of closet space. Only 2 short blocks to the beach front access. Everyone had a fantastic time and will definately look to come back. If you are out looking for wonderful seafood Crosby's is down the street not too far you can get the fresh seafood right off the boat there. If you are looking for the best crabcakes check out BLU at the Holiday Inn. The shops are really cute and the people are very friendly around town. Only minutes from the Morris Island Lighthouse (if you go at the right time you can see lots of dolphins as well as the blue crabs). It was an experience my children will never forget. Minutes to Charleston and not far away from Sullivan Island / Isle of the Palms.

Wonderful Weekend!

The house was so beautiful. It was even better than the pictures, and the description was very accurate. The layout was perfect for a family with kids and mixed families. The house was very well-maintained and clean. The walk to the beach was easy, as well as the access to downtown Folly. We really enjoyed visiting the pier, and the restaurant on the pier has wonderful food. We would definately recommend this house to anyone.

We had a wonderful time and the house was fantastic. The amenities and photos of the house were exactly as stated. It was beautiful inside and out. We had plenty of room and the beds were so soft and comfortable

Very easy drive into Charleston.

We would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I have always relied on the internet to find our perfect vacation spot and we have fallen prey to some very deceiving pictures of properties in the past. However, this time, we were very lucky!
This house is absolutely gorgeous! My entire family (11 in all) were very impressed. This house looks brand new inside and out, it is clean, very tastefully decorated, all furniture is very comfortable, all rooms are spacious and there is plenty of privacy for everyone. And as stated, it is within walking distance to everything!
2 suggestions:
1st - If you are staying for the week, rent a golf cart for the week verses per day (much cheaper) and fun to cruise around on.
2nd - Pick up a book (free) about Folly Beach a the Dolphin Deli,
last page lists all the (don't do's) in Folly. The Folly Police are very strict about rules and PARKING!!
Folly Beach is a great place to visit, the beach is nice, the Crab Shack is the best place to eat, the Dolphin Deli is a great place for lunch, and the locals AND their pets are very friendly! ENJOY!! And by the way, you will also love Charleston!

Our vacation was the week of August 8th This is a beautiful vacation rental home that all of us (13) enjoyed very much. Plenty of room and a plethora of sleeping areas. The walk to the beach and to Center Street is a short distance and easy to navigate. We went into Charleston quite often and I can highly recommend 'Sticky Fingers' restaurant. The general area of Folly Beach was a sight worth seeing and one that made our visit worthwhile.
Owner's Response: This house is perfect for a large family. There is so much room, the kids can have their own floor, and the parents, the other. Folly is a very unique and fun place to visit, and I am so glad that the renters are having such a great experience. I encourage anyone that is looking for a beautiful, spacious house, with plenty of siteseeing, to rent our house,and I hope that you have as wonderful of a time as the previous renters!
