This newly renovated home is within 3 blocks of Oak Bluffs Harbor. Enter via a covered porch with rocking chairs and French doors opening to a large, sunny and comfortable living room. There is a sectional couch for viewing the HDTV and DVDs as well as a game/computer table, overstuffed seating and additional chairs. Past the laundry room are stairs to the upstairs front bedrooms and a door to the side deck before entering the kitchen with its abutting pantry room, separate dining area, and a full bath. The in-law apartment with its own sitting area, mini-kitchen, double bedroom and oversized shower can be accessed here or via the private rear entrance abutting the back parking area. There are 2 upstairs bedrooms to the front of the house, a king with French doors to a private balcony as well as a bedroom with 2 twins. Stairs by kitchen area lead to the upper rear of the house, to a cathedral-ceilinged alcove with 1 twin and a queen futon couch/bed and another bedroom w/ 2 twins.

The sectional couch seats 6 adults or many children, the overstuffed chair seats 1 adult, 2 children if small and friendly! There are additional chairs and seating as well. The in-law apartment has a private entrance with direct access to the rear parking area as well as to the kitchen and dining area-the apartment has a small fridge and sink area with a small pantry, a double (full) bedroom as well as its own small LR/sitting area and private bath with an overlarge shower w/ built-in seat.

Air-conditioned, stroll to Oak Bluffs in minutes.: Within a 10-minute walk of the house is the Harbor, the boardwalk, the Flying Horses, sport fishing boats, ferries to Nantucket or the mainland for day trips, many restaurants and carry-outs, art galleries, dock eateries and fabulous shopping, Amongst the gingerbread houses, a 5 minutes' walk away, there is an extraordinary magical community to view, the weekly community sing, band concerts, and celebrity concerts take place here in the open-air concert hall. A fabulous waterview park is less than a 2 minutes' walk away-feed the ducks, fly your kite, play ball and throw Frisbees, and yet a third waterview park is a 10 minutes' walk further-with benches, a gingerbread gazebo, wading and small sailboat pond, and flowerbeds-a fun community gathering spot. Enjoy your fried clams and pizza, spontaneous guitar playing, boat watching, kid splashing, whatever your fancy.
