Stayed here for a week with my daughter in July. We had a great time. Initially thought the cottage was great. But it even got better as we were able to see a couple other cottages at Hawks Nest. The owner did an excellent job remodeling. Everything is new and very clean, compared to the others we saw. Very good beach environment for kids!! If we do another beach vacation, would definitely rent here again.

Relaxing weekend

We spent a long weekend at this cottage and had a very relaxing time. Sitting on the beach and walking around the community was enjoyable. We also spent a day in Mystic Center, shopping. This cottage was so well maintained and nicely decorated. We will return to stay at this cottage again. We also met Mike, the owner ,who was very pleasant and accommodating.

After spending many years at hawks nest beach when our children were going up we decided we wanted to continue the tradition with our grandchildren who had already rented another cottage. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this home and it was available for Memorial Day weekend.
Everything was perfect!! Besides the linens and towels, everything else was provided for us, and the owner was extremely helpful answering questions and getting us any extras we needed. The bed in the front of cottage (the only one we used) was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning.
Cottage was completely done over....everyone of our friends that stopped by LOVED it!!! Wish our little getaway didn't end so quickly, we were so relaxed we didn't want to leave, but looking forward to returning next year!! Thanks again Mike, a great time had by all!!

Very Enjoyable For Family Vacations!

Friends of ours were getting married near by and we thought it would be more fun and less expensive to rent a cottage with a group of friends.

We had 5 adults, a two year old and a two month old. This house was perfect! Very clean and kid friendly.

The neighborhood we just loved. The general store had kid activities to attended every day and we loved how there was quiet hours at night. It made our vacation time that much more enjoyable!

The only downfall(which isn't even a bad one) we had to walk down the road to go to the beach. It was just a short walk so it wasn't a big deal at all.

We have already started talking about going back next year!
