Cozy Cove is a small condominium complex of six total units, located on Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida. The complex sits on the Gulf side of the Key along Blind Pass. Turtle Beach is approx. 5-10 minute walk down the street and offers a public boat launch, picnic and children's areas. A 20' boat dock is available for your use with the rental of this unit at no additional charge.

World-renowned Siesta Key Beach is located approx. 4 miles north and is buzzing with activity. The south side of the Key, where the condo is located, is known for its quieter, more peaceful setting. It is more common to see middle-aged couples and the young at heart walking down the sidewalk or relaxing at Turtle Beach rather than Siesta Key Beach's more boisterous crowd.

There are many golf courses in the area, including several executive courses and two practice ranges.

About Dana Johnson

This unit is personally owned by Dana Johnson and her mother Millie Zivkovich. Dana manages the rentals through her leasing office at Momz Properties LLC. We use this unit as our personal vacation retreat as well and have stocked it with furnishings and amenities that we enjoy. We continue to make improvements to the unit inside and out as time and the budget permits and we welcome your suggestions and comments.

Why Dana Johnson chose Siesta Key

Siesta Key is such a wonderful place to visit and the south side of the key is much quieter than the middle where all the hustle and bustle is. Cozy Cove is right by the Turtle Beach Pub and Ophelia's which makes walking over for a casual bite to eat or a nice dinner very easy. There is a boat launch and a kids park within walking distance too.

What makes this condo unique

I really think the best thing about Cozy Cove is that it is so small. With only 6 total units and all being privately owned, there is a comfortable, down to earth feeling when you stay there. It's easy to talk to other guests or unit owners and it's just as easy to have some privacy.

Siesta Key, Sarasota is home to one of the finest beaches in the world; Siesta Key Beach has been named consistently on Top 10 lists in several magazines and on the Travel Channel. Siesta Key also showcases Crescent Beach and Turtle Beach along its shoreline.

Sarasota, however, has so much more to offer its visitors. After a day at the beach, you can shop or dine at the famous St. Armand's Circle or see a show at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Centre. From February to March, Ed Smith Stadium houses the Cincinatti Red's spring training baseball camp. The property is well-maintained, clean and comfortable. We spent two fantastic weeks, during which we visited Sarasota's beautiful beaches, the nearby parks in Orlando, the shopping centers and some restaurants. My family really enjoyed the nice, quiet surroundings, the proximity to Turtle Beach (walking distance) and Siesta Beach (a short drive). There were lots of nice little extras provided, such as soap, shampoo, condiments and spices, which were a nice little touch. The apartment is well-equipped with all the necessities, books, videos and games.
The location is safe, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves peace and quiet and wants to enjoy a vacation in the sun.(Sarasota is wonderful all year round).
I would advise the manager to check the air conditioning, which doesn't seem to work well at times.

Needs TLC

This condo is in a great location, close to the Turtle Beach and 3 restaurants but this property itself needs lots of TLC! My husband and I stayed here for a month. We found dirty area carpets, windows that couldn't open, broken blinds and much more. When we arrived we found the washer broke and contacted the out of area owner on the morning of Thursday 2/9. Even though she had assured us that she had people in the area, it took her people til Saturday to come to the condo to investigate the problem and another 3 days to bring a repairman in (Tues. 2/14). We will not be back to Cozy Cove.

great location with boat dock

Since we came to boat and fish, it was great to be able to walk into the back yard and dock the boat; the boat ramp is literally across the canal and easy to get to in turtle park; the condo was ery spacious;

Near Perfect

My finace and I came here and stayed last July 4th weekend. We were completely blown away with how well stocked the unit was. Would recommend that you change the sheets before sleeping in them as ours were... used to keep it PG. Couldn't get the shower in the master bedroom to work but that was OK as we could still use the hall bath. The beach is only a quick walk away and there are plenty of things to do in The Village. Fireworks were amazing to watch on the beach and my fiance inadvertantly got to "swim w the dolphins" that came right up to the shoreline while he was out there. The unit itself was outstanding and we will definitely be going back for a week during our honeymoon and hopefully yearly after that.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Our stay at the property was just the ideal setting, in an area we knew & very close to the beach & amenities. The property was well 'kitted out' & we could please ourselves whether to eat out or cook at home. Even though it was Thanksgiving whilst we were there it was very quiet. A place to re visit & recommend.
