Located on secluded, quiet road in White Mountains region. Only 80 ft from front steps to 'toes in the water.' Your own private sandy beach, boat dock, screened porch. Two bedrooms on 1st floor ea with double bed. Sofa bed in living rm. Plus loft style bedrm accessible by climbing a ladder. Cottage has a gasfired 'woodstove' for that cozy atmosphere on those cooler nights. Complete kitchen. On screened porch is another table and chairs. Sun deck in front of cottage. Use of fishing poles, life jackets, a canoe and 2 kayaks, open fire pit for campfires on the beach. You can kayak or canoe down the Bearcamp River right into Lake Ossipee. Only 25 minutes from North Conway. Walk to golf course, grocery store, and liquor store. Jet ski rentals nearby. Other nearby attractions include North Conway shopping outlets, Kangamangus Highway, Castle in the Clouds, Keepsake Quilts, and much more. Other nearby airports- Manchester Airport 83 miles, Portland International 51 miles.

Cottage uniquely located in both the New Hampshire Lakes Region and White Mountains Region. Not far from Lake Winnepesaukee attractions. The White Mountains are full of scenic hiking trails with waterfalls and mountain views. White Water Rafting available at Saco River. North Conway has a scenic train ride. Fantastic fall foliage abounds everywhere in Sept and Oct. In the fall, Fryeberg Fair attracts thousands of visitors. Only 6 miles from King Pine Ski area. Other White Mountain attraction include the Six Gun City, Santa's Village, Storyland, Whale's Tale Waterpark, Polar Caves, Clark's Trading Post, and Lost River. Also only about 1 hour from public ocean beaches at Hampton, Rye and Seabrook NH. For history buffs, Strawberry Banks in Portsmouth NH is a great attraction.

Notes: For children's toys, we have items such as inflatable rafts, water guns, frisbees, badminton, pails and misc. sand toys. There is also a good sized yard with grassy areas. No guarantees, but we have sighted a bald eagle on the property on occasion, as well as great blue herons and cranes, so be sure to have binoculars and a camera. The lake is stocked with trout and also has salmon and bass. We do leave fishing poles and horseshoes for your use as well. Some of the games we have there are chess, checkers, Trivial Pursuit, Chutes and Ladders, decks of cards, Texas Holdum, Monopoly, Yatzee, Cranium, and others.

Beautiful Sunrises: The sunrise over the lake in the mornings is breathtaking. There is just nothing like the sun reflecting on the water. The sky in shades of pink, purple and blue. We love to sit out on the porch and sip our coffee in the mornings and soak it all in. You can see it from the living room through the 2 sliders or from either the front deck or the screened porch. Or sit out on private (not shared) sandy beach on comfy adirondak chairs with footrests.

We rented this cottage in August of 2009. It had been quite a while since I had been back to the Lake for summer vacation. I just can not say enough. The cottage was clean, well maintained, and extremely comfortable! The swimming was great, and with 2 teenagers having a canoe and rafts was awesome. It was amazing to see the little kids come out of these "cool" teens...lol Can not wait to come back this summer!!!!
