West Glacier Vacation Rental lodge

I love the way this was represented on the website....what a laugh!! Believe me this is not what we got. Where do we start? Perhaps it should be at the muddy walkway that we had to walk through to get to our basement apartment under a restaurant that we didnt even know was there let alone that it was going to be over our heads, or perhaps I should start at the "lovely" glass french doors that greeted us. Really felt protected with these sturdy doors!!! Not!!! This property was a huge disappointment and really a shock to us. It is listed as having a dvd well not only didn't it have one, but there was no tv, no radio and not even a clock. Our view was out to a gravel parking lot with trucks and a motor home parked on it. We thought we were getting a cabin to ourselves not the basement of a three story lodge. The price we paid for this was high per night and of course it was prepaid. On the good side however, and yes there is a good side, the place was clean and it is large with 2 bathrooms one of which is extra large with a sauna and a jacuzzi tub (we didn't use) and it has 2 bedrooms. It is described as a "honeymoon suite". Personally if it was my honeymoon I wouldn't like it at all. . We especially "loved" listening to the workers moving tables over our heads as we tried having something to eat on our first morning there. Fortunately for us we were leaving for the day so we didn't have to listen for very long. I called the owner Trudy and complained but have not heard from her. We were booked for three nights but only stayed two. Very disappointed and angry!!! We would definitely not recommend this property.
