Enjoy the lake and stay close to the coast!:
Traffic along Route 1 can be very congested! We are only 8 miles from Route 1, so you can shop if you like along the coast, but escape the crowds and noise by retreating to the lake. Once you see how beautiful the long views of Swan Lake are from all three levels, you may find that you don't want to shop as much as you thought! For the kids, swimming, fishing and canoing during the day and roasting marshmallows over a campfire at night make 'Loon's Call' their favorite spot!
Swan Lake is special!:
Swan Lake is one of Maine's cleanest lakes and it's only 8 miles from the coast. Please don't take our word for it though, a little research prior to making reservations with any lakefront property is probably a good idea. Not every lake in Maine is as clean as Swan Lake! Also, we are equidistant from Freeport and Bar Harbor. If you rent in Freeport, you may miss out on Bar Harbor and if you rent in Bar Harbor you won't want to drive all the way to Freeport or Camden to shop.
You won't 'rough it' at Loon's Call!:
Our views are over the widest part of the lake, over a mile to the other side. Also, our proximity to the coast provides a gentle breeze every afternoon. We don't ask you to rough it while on vacation and we don't employ a rental agency. We want your vacation to be special, please give us the opportunity to spoil you and your family.
