Luxurious condo with spectacular sunsets! 3.5 miles of private and pristine beach and a beautiful golf course await you–Estrella del Mar Resort is a safe, gated community located just ten minutes from the Mazatlan airport on the Mexican Riviera. Our 2-bedroom condo with large living and dining room is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated, providing stunning views of the resort size pool, beach and ocean. The master bedroom with king-size bed and full bath opens to a deck with all the same views. The guest bedroom is also nicely appointed with queen size bed and 3/4 bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with GE profile appliances and there is a separate laundry room with full size washer & dryer. The deck features a barbeque and chairs to enjoy the view and sip a drink.   • GENERAL CLEANING cost included in rental. (see Special Cleaning below)
  • Special cleaning due to misuse or accidents will be deducted from the damage deposit.
    Smoking in the condo unit is a mandatory $250 cleaning fee. Smoking on the deck is ok but please respect the property by keeping the smoke outside.
  • CANCELLATION: 100% of rent received refunded, if request is received 60 or more days prior to 1st day of rental - No refunds within 60 days.
    DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A $500 hold will be placed on your credit card approximately 5 days prior to your arrival. This hold will be released within 15 days of your departure assuming there is no damage or loss. Special cleaning due to misuse or accidents will be charged against the damage deposit.

Estrella del Mar Also Offers:: The Estrella del Mar resort also features a restaurant, pro shop and fitness center located in the golf club house and a small general store. For your convenience, the resort provides a free shuttle service to destinations on the resort. Transportation to and from the airport and into Mazatlan can also be arranged. You can even make arrangements to have the refrigerator stocked with food & beverages prior to your arrival.

Golf: The best golf course in the region. A Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course with 6 of the 18 holes adjacent to the ocean. Very beautiful and fun for golfers of all ability levels. Rental clubs and lessons available. Please tell them you are staying in unit 2202 and request special owner rates.

Peaceful Paradise

This is paradise. If you want to relax by day on the deck, at the pool or on the beach or if you are a golfer this is the place. My husband played golf almost everyday and I walked the beaches, read books and just plain relaxed. This unit is in the building closest to the beach so it has beautiful views. Being on the second floor with no one above, we didn’t get any of the noise of moving chairs, walking, etc. from above. It’s only one flight of stairs down to the pool and beach so super simple.
We liked the idea that EDM is ecologically minded with a turtle sanctuary just down the beach 50 yards or so. The food at the golf club restaurant is very good but we rented a car and went to town (about 25 minutes) and bought groceries so did most of our own cooking in the well equipped kitchen or on the charcoal barbeque.
There is not any shopping or night life at EDM, other than the live music a couple days a week at the restaurant. Shoppers, remember to book your shuttle ride and I think the last shuttle returns from town at 7:30 pm. We would recommend a rental car as visiting old town Mazatlan is really neat and there are some great restaurants on the town plazas. Driving is a little different but if you just go steady and watch out for the wild ones you will be fine. Oh remember, the closest gas station to fill up your rental is on the main highway into town so give yourself time to get there and fill up before heading back to the airport. Many gas stations only take cash so keep some handy. If you need help or advice, the Resident Manager, Olga is very nice and David the Property Rental Manager can also help arrange things for you.
I highly recommend this unit as one of the best at Estrella del Mar. We hope to go back soon!

Very Relaxing Enjoyable Stay

Our stay was all we expected it to be. This condo is in an excellent location looking over the enormous swimming pool and right over the edge of the beach. It is on the second floor with no one above so there was no noise from moving chairs, etc.

The condo is decorated beautifully and there is charcoal grill on the deck that we used extensively. There is also a nice restaurant at the golf club house which has live music 2 or 3 nights a week. I think on Wednesday and Friday for sure.

If you like to play golf the course is terrific and the rates are reasonable. If you plan to go into Mazatlan city many times you may want to consider renting a car as it takes about 25 minutes to get to town. Otherwise, you can arrange to ride on the EDM shuttle to town to explore and shop.

We look forward to our next stay!

Hello,

The apartment and the condos are really nice instalations, you can see wonderfull sunsets here. The beach is very private and peacefull, only few people is there. The pool is great also. The trip to Mazatlán is short, so if you want,
you can go everyday to the city.
