Luxurious condo with spectacular sunsets! 3.5 miles of private and pristine beach and a beautiful golf course await you–Estrella del Mar Resort is a safe, gated community located just ten minutes from the Mazatlan airport on the Mexican Riviera.

Our 2-bedroom condo with large living and dining room is beautifully and comfortably furnished and decorated, providing stunning views of the resort size pool, beach and ocean. The master bedroom with king-size bed and full bath opens to a deck with all the same views. The guest bedroom is also nicely appointed with queen size bed and 3/4 bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with GE profile appliances and there is a separate laundry room with full size washer & dryer. The deck features a barbeque and chairs to enjoy the view and sip a drink. There is also free internet access in the unit. The unit is on the second floor of a 2 story building so it is quieter with no-one above.

  • GENERAL CLEANING cost included in rental. (see Special Cleaning below)
  • Special cleaning due to misuse or accidents will be deducted from the damage deposit.
    Smoking in the condo unit is a mandatory $250 cleaning fee. Smoking on the deck is ok but please respect the property by keeping the smoke outside.
  • CANCELLATION: Rent received refunded minus $40 credit card processing fee, if request is received 60 or more days prior to 1st day of rental - No refunds within 60 days.
    DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A $500 hold may be placed on your credit card approximately 5 days prior to your arrival. This hold will be released within 15 days of your departure assuming there is no damage or loss. Special cleaning due to misuse or accidents will be charged against the damage deposit.

What Can You Expect at Estrella del Mar?:

Spend your days golfing at one of Mexico’s top rated golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., relaxing by the pool or walking the miles of quiet beach. For the nature lovers, watch the pelicans surf the waves or maybe catch a glimpse of the dolphins or even a whale. Visit the turtle sanctuary and watch the release of newly hatched turtles back into the ocean. For the more active, you can swim in the ocean, boogie board or surf. Horseback riding on the beach or bird watching via boat in one of the local tributaries can also be arranged. Finish the day relaxing in the pool’s jetted hot tub.

The Estrella del Mar resort also features a restaurant, pro shop and fitness center located in the golf club house; Los Delfines Restaurant and Bar, El Courtyard Café, pool side cafe bar, spa and fitness center in the newly enlarged and renovated Las Villas Hotel; and a small general store. For your convenience, the resort provides a free shuttle service to destinations on the resort. Transportation to and from the airport and into Mazatlan can also be arranged. You can even make arrangements to have the refrigerator stocked with food & beverages prior to your arrival.

The best golf course in the region. A Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course with 6 of the 18 holes adjacent to the ocean. Very beautiful and fun for golfers of all ability levels. Rental clubs and lessons available. Please tell them you are staying in unit 2202 and request special owner rates.

Wonderful Quiet & Romantic Location

This condo is gorgeous! Beautiful interior, wonderful views and right in front of a HUGE pool and the beach. A very quiet location - extremely peaceful and relaxing.
Food at La Paloma Restaurant was excellent. Very friendly people at this resort - we highly recommend it and we will be back!

Quiet Slice of Heaven

A pristine condo in a heavenly setting! Lovely walks on the beach, and we pretty much had the pool to ourselves. The staff at Estrella del Mar were wonderful and Bill & Anita gave us lots of helpful info before we arrived.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, a beautiful pool, and a beautiful beach, this is your spot. We saw dolphins, and a whale! We could not have asked for more!

EDM was the perfect getaway for us this year....secluded and quiet with the ambience that is second to none. Loved the condo, loved the beach, loved the heated pool (unusual for Mexico), loved the golf course and met a few new friends along the way. Great restaurant and the staff are marvelous. A bit far from Mazatlan so if you are looking for quiet and serene this is the place! We'll be back!

Relaxing and secluded location

We loved our stay in this great condo. Everything was as depicted in the photos and the view from the balconies were stunning! The location was very relaxing and secluded and yet only a short drive into the city. We enjoyed our beach walks, playing in the waves, and seeing the dolphins on two different days. Olga, the H.O.A. lady, helped set up our ziplining adventure, which was so much fun! Thanks to Bill and Anita for providing us with this excellent condo, we hope to come back someday.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

The Condo was perfect and just as it was discribed in VRBO if not better. EDM was quite and very well maintained, the staff could not do enough for us. Bill and Anita provide tons of info and answered all our questions. Over all a perfect 10 days and we'll be back in 2010
