Our newly renovated 4100+ square foot house has 6 bedrooms 4.5 bathrooms houses situated on open water on Summerland Key. This unique location has both an ocean side with crystal clear blue water, a small island within swimming distance and a protected canal side where you can keep your boat. Absolutely beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from any one of the many balconies spread over three floors. The house has a southwest exposure. TV's mostly large in all bedrooms, and a 50' plasma in the main family room. The house is equipped with elevator, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, BBQ, hammock, boat dock, jet ski ramp, and plenty of outdoor furniture. There is a heated pool with jacuzzi. Sorry no pets allowed. There is also a small apartment with own entrance, mini kitchen, and great ocean view that can be included as well for parties larger than 8 adults..

Water Lover's Paradise -Two Families

Our two families stayed at this house Jan 2-9,'10 and were extremely pleased with the accomodations. Our group included 10 twentysomething year-olds and they enjoyed the house immensely. The two master bedroom suites are luxurious, the media room is comfortable and beautiful as well. There are plenty of patios and balconies to enjoy cocktails or board games, we listened to music outside each night without a problem from neighbors. We used the grill each night and set up an outside/inside bar on the pass through stone kitchen/ poolside counter. We kayaked to the small islands in front of the house, and parked our boat on the dock on street side. The group fished daily with good results only a few miles out. The new pool and spa are beautiful, finished with stone tiles. The new elevator accomodates all four levels for luggage, etc. The owner genuinely wants your stay to be enjoyed by all and will assist with your needs. You will not be disappointed renting this unit.

Location, location, location

We are experienced "house renters" in the Keys and in the caribbean. We used to try to rent on the gulf side for better fishing but at this location the fishing was the best we have ever had! Forget renting a boat--you don't need it. Because there is a deep water channel off the pool side we caught tons of snappers and even caught a shark at night--too big to land but great to take pictures. We saw crabs, lobsters, an eel, dolphins and parrot fish right there. Its also close enough to Key West to easily run there for shopping. The Square Grouper restaurant is the best and only 5 minutes away. There are islands close enough to swim to and great for kayaking and bonefishing too. The house comes "loaded" so you don't have to buy small misc. items like catsup and mustard, salt and pepper, etc. The owners are very friendly and you don't feel like they will keep your security deposit if you break a glass and your deposit is promptly returned--a nice touch too. Overall I would say this is the best rental we have ever done in the keys.

You'll never want to leave!

As beautiful as the pictures are, they don't begin to do this house justice. It is an incredibly warm, comfortable, and inviting home that you will never want to leave, as well as extremely spacious, clean, and well maintained. Not only is it situated right on the ocean, allowing for incredible views, but the convenience of the swimming pool provided a great way to cool off without having to venture into the ocean, and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in at night. The owners could not have been more gracious or accommodating, and made sure that the house was stocked with everything we needed to thoroughly enjoy the stay. The kitchen and outdoor grill were a chef's dream, and enabled us to save a lot of money on eating out, allowing us to enjoy delicious meals on the back patio as we watched the sun set over the ocean. Another huge selling point for us was the washer and dryer...it was so nice not to have had to pack as much, and being able to take home a suitcase full of clean clothes was much nicer than being stuck with a mountain of laundry on our return home! This was truly the best vacation we have ever had, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a phenomenal getaway.

Family Paradise

We stayed here with our 5 children and our parents. It was perfect. My father commented it is as close to heaven as anyone can get.... It rained one afternoon and no one seemed to mind hanging around inside for the day. Great location enough space for a drive to Key West and total solitude if that is what your looking for. We'll be back.....

we snorkled right off the dock, jet skiied everywhere. basically we played and what a house to play in. lots of room, very neat and clean. sunsets were amazing. nothing like a tanquary and tonic while sitting in the pool after a long day. house was perfect.
