The main level includes an open fully-equipped kitchen/dining room/living room with a fireplace and sliding glass doors to an 80 foot wraparound deck; 1 bedroom; full bath; and washer/dryer. The lower level includes a family room; fireplace; and bar with beverage refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Sliding glass door opens to patio below deck. Lower level also includes 1 bedroom, a sleeping den, and full bathroom. We stayed at Doc's Place in May of '09 to do some northern pike fishing and while the weather did not cooperate we were right at home and very satisfied with our stay. Bill was very helpful and accomodating and the house was very spacious, well-equipped and offered everything that we were looking for. Great views, access to the lake, a free NY state boat launch right nearby....it was allll good and I would either return again or recommend a stay to anyone. Enjoy!

Didnt want to leave

This is the first time I didnt want to leave at the end of a vacation and could have easily stayed another week. It was so relaxing, yet all the comforts of home. The kids had a blast staying in their own "space" downstairs with a mini fridge, sofa and own tv. The kids loved the lake and dock. We did tons of "tubing". The views from inside and outside are awesome. Open the sliding glass doors and enjoy the breeze. I had the oven on for a couple of hours but the breeze kept the house cool!

We enjoyed our walk into town and ventured over to play some mini golf. Also there is a playground just through the property and down the block. My kids range in age from 6-18 and they ALL had a good time and had things to do.

The owners are very friendly, helpful and there IF you have any problems. We did not however.

I am so hoping we can make it back there in the near future!! Enjoy your stay, we certainly did!!

THE BEST STAY ON THE LAKE!!!!!

We had such a wonderful time! The property was the perfect location for relaxing on the lake. It was located right on the lake with a beautiful view of the Sacandaga Lake and a wonderful breeze off the lake that kept you cool all day.
The home was beautifully kept and very clean.
Eleven of us slept there comfortably - The amentities were unbelievable; you will want for nothing.
Shopping for groceries were close by and everything you would need could be found right in the quaint town or Northville. We could walk in to town in a matter of minutes.
The town's people are very friendly and very accomodating.
The owner's were available immediately should you need anything.
The dock was right there and you could just jump right in and enjoy the refreshing water.
This is THE PLACE to stay if you are thinking about a vacation on the lake.
We have traveled to many locations and stayed in many different hotels and I must say, this topped them all.
