Seasonal 'Rustic' log cabin located on 3 acres, beautiful private setting on Northern Lake George. Gorgeous mountain/ lake views. Large screened in eat on porch for 12 plus sitting area for relaxation, 6 bedrooms(Offering King,Queen,Twin and Full beds) Newly renovated kitchen includes refrigerator, electric stove, garbage compactor and small appliances.Complete linens, towels, kitchen utensils etc. supplied. Living room offers chapel ceiling, extra large picture window with lakeview and a beautiful stone fireplace with insert. Full dining room with lake view as well. The beach area is 150 Ft. with sand. Water is crystal clear with no weeds. Slow decent in depth allows easy access for swimming as well as perfect depth for boats. Long dock with platform with easy climb ladder, holds up to 23 ft. boat. Home entertainment supplies are cable TV, VCR/DVD, stereo/CD player, telephone, Board games. Lake George Village 45 mins., The Great Escape 50 mins.This is your dream vacation spot

Notes: This is a great family vacation spot. The house is 50 Ft. from the shore of the lake. Excellent beach location for small children learning to swim. Great area for fishing.The house has steps outside for entrance and to the beach/lake area. There is No-Smoking in the cabin.

Points of Interest/Activities: Hague is located 9 miles south of Ticonderoga on Lake George. Fort Ticonderoga is 10 mins. from the house as is the Vermont Ferry.There is Golf, mini golf, a small petting zoo in Ticonderoga as well. Nearby restaurants are located in Hague and Ticonderoga. Lake George Village is 45 mins., Bolton Landing 30 mins., The 'Great Escape' Six Flags is 50 mins. as well as Outlet shopping. Saratoga Racetrack is approx. 1 hr.

The Cabin: The cabin was built in the early 1900s. It is an 'Authentic' log cabin. The bedrooms are all approx. 14x14, The living room and screened in porch are very large. The cabin is spacious enough that 12 people will not find themselves cramped in the home.The living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms as well as the porch have a full view of the lake. There are no marble floors, granite counter tops ,saunas or whirlpools located in the house. If you are looking for modern, state of the art glitz and glamor this is NOT the house for you. If you are looking for country, beauty and family fun, it is perfect. I send more pictures with the contract and room by room descriptions. There is a $150 cleaning fee IF the house is left in a dirty manner.

Perfect Weekend Getaways: This home is perfect for 'Girls Weekend Getaways',Fisherman weekends(Bass,trout and salmon), family reunions, birthday and anniversary 'Surprise Weekends'. What a perfect way to surprise a family member or friend with a weekend for 12 away from it all!

Great Family Reunion at Lake George

We rented this classic lakefront log cabin for a long weekend in June 09 for a family reunion and everyone really enjoyed the experience. The Owner's were very friendly and helpful to deal with and the cabin was very comfortable and special to us. The authentic log cabin really contributed to the history and spirit of the Adirondack area and made our visit to Lake George a memorable one. We enjoyed sitting by the lake in the Adirondack Chairs and talking until sunset, swimming off the dock and we had a few great BBQs! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was all functional and we had no complaints. I would recommend this home to anyone that wants to have a great Lake George experience and appreciates the traditions and history of the area,

relaxing get away

I just returned from a wonderful "girls getaway" at this wonderful, authentic, rustic log house. What an amazing view on this quite cove. The house was located a nice distance from the road and wonderfully close to the water. We were nicely welcomed when we arrived and given a though tour of the home. The home was quite clean when we arrived. The kitchen had nice new appliances and allowed several of us to prepare meals together. The dining room was nice, but we prefered the table on the screen porch to take full advantage of the view and the location. The living room was large and comfortable that included a new casual couch and leather chair (no wild animals were seen anywhere in this home). The bedrooms were spacous with all but one bed having new mattresses. I loved the vintage beds and furnishings in some of the bedrooms.

I would definately recommend this home for anyone that wants a true adirondack layedback getaway with easy access to the lake.

Excellent Experience

My girlfriends and I rented the cabin and had a WONDERFUL time. The cabin was cute, quaint and welcoming. The location was breathtakingly gorgeous and we were welcomed with the fresh aroma of roses along our path into the cabin. The property was clean and well-maintained. We had full use of everything there, all of which were in great condition. There was nothing negative that can be said about our stay. The owner was friendly and welcoming. I would whole-heartedly recommend this property to any friend. This was a perfect getaway with the girls and we truly had a wonderful experience.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat!

I recently stayed at The Crow's Nest with a group of friends and I'm already trying to figure out when I can visit again! The views from the property are spectacular and there are several cozy places around the grounds from which to enjoy it. I really couldn't believe how spacious the cabin itself was and how comfortably it slept and accommodated a large group. The cabin's cozy decor added to its charm, as did the view from the comfy sitting room and screened-in porch. The property was impeccably landscaped and maintained and the interior was clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were easily able to prepare several large meals. I would absolutely recommend this property to those wanting a beautiful, lakeside getaway with all of the comforts of home. I truly hope my friends and I are able to make a stay at The Crow's Nest a yearly tradition.

Fun relaxing getaway

This cabin provided the great location and surroundings for a weekend girls getaway. The cabin was amazing. The rustic decor was exactly what we were looking for and complemented the lake perfectly. We were provided with everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, and enjoying our weekend. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely rent this property again!
