Upper East Side Apartment Rental Photos and Description
1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and dining room
This elegant and stylishly furnished apartment is located in the heart of Manhattan's Upper East Side. It is one block from the subway station, one block from Central Park, and a short walk from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney.
The apartment has a doorman, full bath and kitchen, high ceilings, and plenty of light.
Fabulous location in an older elegant building with doorman and elevator to this 9th floor apartment. Proximity to major attractions-walk 1 block to enter Central Park entrance and continue to the excellent Boat House Restaurant or walk up 5th Ave. to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This neighborhood is museum heaven. Lexington Ave. subway 2 1/2 blocks. Many transportation options close by. The apartment is spacious, light and inviting, accurately portrayed in photos. The bed is firm and extremely comfortable. The galley kitchen is adequately stocked. The living room featured a sofa with a wonderfully soft fabric and other comfortable seating. The décor is light Asian sophisticated and cozy. The owner Denise is charming and most accommodating. She lives in the building across the street. Our stay was a delight (2 adults) and we would recommend highly.
This is our third time in NYC and, so far and by far, this is the best apartment we stayed. Is perfect for two people. It is located in a beautiful street in a very nice and well preserved building, with two very good and gentle doormans. If you are worried with safety, you’ll have no problems there. It is quiet and safe. The location is great: half a block from Madison, half from Park Avenue, two from Lexington (and the Subway Station), two form the Fifth and also two from the 79th, were Crosstown buses stops. Close to shops, museums, great restaurants and Central Park. Inside, the apartment was comfortable and spacious, clean and well-maintained, nice linens too. The listing photos accurately reflect it. We would recommend this apartment to friends and relatives and would love to stay there again.

Tourists without a Car,
This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful apartment and it is definitely not going to be our last time. We hope to keep coming back. For starters, it is brilliantly located by some excellent shops, restaurants, cafes. Central Park is just a block away and the museums are so close by. We love this location. The apartment has a very helpful doorman named Sam and the lovely and very kind owner is always available via phone or email in case we have any random questions about New York. The apartment is very comfortable and has all the ammenities. We stayed with our two children. Even though this is a one bedroom apartment, we all fit in very nicely and comfortably as the kids were very comfortable on the pull out sofa bed in the living room. There is cable TV and wifi. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to eat, drink or cook comfortably. We felt very much at home and had everything we needed. We do have high standards and this apartment met all our needs.
Ideal location in elegant neighborhood (President of France was staying accross the street while we were there). Central Park is one block away and there's a subway nearby as is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The apartment was clean, well furnished with TV and internet (bring your own lap-top). Doormen and building staff were very nice.
