The property is a large detached chalet located in a quiet mountainside location. The English owners are on the lower floor and are available at all times to give assistance. The 'Main Floor' of the property, which has its own separate entrance, is available for rent. It has 3 bedrooms which sleeps up to 6 people and a large balcony offering excellent views. There is central heating throughout the property. There is the possibility to carry out some washing in the separate laundry room. Outside there is storage for ski equipment, sufficient parking for additional cars, a good sized garden with ample outdoor furniture, table tennis, and a barbeque.

The property occupies the full ground floor of a chalet located in a quiet mountainside location. The English owners live locally and are available at all times to give assistance. The main living room is a good size, has cable television with dvd player and an extend able dining table. There is access to a large balcony with open views across the Rhone valley. In addition there is a large outside table and a gas barbeque. The kitchen is small but fully equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, etc. Two bedrooms contain double beds, and the third smaller bedroom has bunk beds. All the bedrooms have ample storage space. The bathroom has a bath/shower, basin, cupboard and toilet. There is the possibility to carry out some washing in the separate laundry room. The outside facilities are as described in the general property details.

This quiet village location is within a 5-minute drive of the renowned resort of Crans-Montana. During the winter months the resort offers extensive skiing, sledging for the young at heart, shopping and cinema … something for everyone. During the summer the area is a haven for walkers, climbers, and mountain-bikers, who are attracted to the glorious alpine scenery and normally excellent weather conditions. In addition golfers are eager to experience the Crans-sur-Sierre championship golf course (home of the European Masters), as well as a number of other local courses.

Ski: The Crans-Montana-Aminona ski resort is just a ten minute car or bus ride away. The season runs from the beginning of December to mid April. The pistes cover a huge area and range in altitude between 1500 and 3000 metres. There are 6 cable cars, 6 chairlifts, and numerous button bars, servicing the pistes. The majority of the runs are of an intermediate or easy level, and there are several ski and snowboard schools in the area. Some cross country skiing is possible, including on the Plain Morte glacier at 3000 metres. There is also an outdoor ice skating rink in the centre of Montana. For apres ski there is a plentiful supply of restaurant and bars. And if you wish to venture further afield there are many other ski areas within easy reach. During long, hot summer months there are many attractions in the local area, including hiking, cycling, golf, river rafting, swimming, and paragliding. Something for all the family

Have rented this property both in Winter and Summer and it is perfect for both. Could not have asked for a better value house or nicer hosts than Colin and Christine.

A mile from the skiing in the winter and less for golf and walking at any other time - I would like to live here!
