Photos and Description of the Duck vacation house rental

Lovely relaxing and comfortable home with beautiful ocean views and lots of room for a big family to spread out. Fully equipped kitchen with 2 DWR, oven, stove, microwave and purifier for drinking water. Large table in dining room has a great view. The great room has a 52' big screen TV with a bluray dvd player. The master bedroom on the top floor has a master bath with a Jacuzzi. Lots of deck space on the second and third floors, sit in the loveseat hammock swinging in the gentle breeze as you listen to the ocean waves. All bedrooms have cable TV. Free Internet is available, bring your laptop! The second level has two master bedrooms with private bathrooms and king size beds. There is also a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with a bunk bed and a pyramid bunk (4 beds total). Those rooms share a bathroom. The bunk room also has a playstation with games. The lower level has a queen bedroom and a bedroom, which share a bathroom. The game room has a TV and a pool table.

The Outer Banks is famous for being the birthplace of flight as the Wright Brothers flew their first plane at Kitty Hawk. Visit the memorial or schedule a sightseeing flight. Roanoke Island is nearby and has a lot of history as an early settlement, it also has plays in the summer in their outdoor theater. There is an aquarium nearby. Go to jockeys ridge to hike, fly kites or hang glide. There are some great areas to go kayaking and canoeing with eco-tours available. Close to the house is sailing and kayaking. Duck is completing a new park within walking distance, in the summer they have free weekly concerts. They are also building a boat launch. There are numerous shops and restaurant within walking distance. Duck has a very nice bike path. Drive up past Corolla into the 4 wheel drive area. You can see the wild horses. There is a very nice movie theater with stadium seating in Kill Devil Hills. There are numerous lighthouses to visit, and lots of nature walks.
