There is also a large second bedroom, a full second bathroom, washer/dryer and tandem parking for 1 car (to share with other unit). Enjoy romantic home-cooked meals in the open kitchen/living room space that has a vaulted ceiling with skylights, exposed beams, a wood burning stove and picture window overlooking Provincetown’s bay and Long Point Lighthouse. The view from this rental is exquisite, and the overall feeling is very private, which can be difficult to find when renting right on Commercial Street. The master bedroom is the selling point, huge windows and a design scheme very clean and architectural. The late morning/afternoon sun in this room is extremely warm, and a ceiling fan would have been used if available.
The only conveniences not available were a music system, especially with a mp3 docking station (there is a clock radio-style cd player in the kitchen and an actual clock radio in the bedroom), and a tv in any room other than the guest room. It was wierd having to be in the guest room to watch a movie.
Lastly, and this may be of interest to only some people, I think the addition of a dead bolt to the rental door is a necessity in this day and age. The button door lock is not adequate security.
All in all, we spent a lovely week in this rental, and enjoyed the views, the ocean breezes and sitting on the deck each and every day. Very special location, hard to find elsewhere.
