Notes: Front walkway and entrance is only two steps up for the elderly. This is a good sized 7-room house with room to spread out in the main living room, separate vaulted-ceiling great room with sliders to the deck, the deck itself which is shaded by pine trees, and the lower level playroom.

You CAN get there from here!: Centrally located with easy access to Route 6, Route 39, and Route 28. Hop in the car for a quick ride to Red River Beach, or to Harwichport or Chatham for some shopping and dinner. And you're never far away from 'necessities' like groceries, gas, library, fried clams, lobster, and even hardware.

So much to do...: With go-carts, restaurants, ferry rides (Nantucket and outer beaches), fishing charters, beaches, bike rides, shopping, sailing, kayaking, lighthouses, evening band concerts, summer theater, and so much more, you can be as 'idle' as you want. Hope you enjoy your visit.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay on Idle Way this past August. The owners thought of everything that we would need from Wi Fi Internet to convenient cleanup bags for our dog. The location of the property combined with the quality of the features offered with this home were ideal for us. We had a sleep over with our grand children (the bedroom with bunkbeds worked great for this) as well as several cookouts with family and friends. We hope to return to Idle Way this summer.

A nice house in a quiet residential area. It's just a short walk to the closest pond and about a half mile from the Cape Cod rail trail. The largest bedroom has a queen, the middle one has two singles (these two rooms share a closet), and the smallest bedroom has a set of bunks (tight squeeze for adults). The house was big enough to host a large dinner party prior to the wedding were were in town for, and the deck would provide even more room had we been there during warm weather. The basement incudes billiards & pool tables as well as a "fourth bedroom," which actually is a large laundry room with a full sized bed. Ask Tom & Dan about cribs & high-chairs ahead of time if you need them. The house is close to Harwich and not too far from Chatham. I brought my 1-yr old and we stayed in the house with my mom, sister, & her fiancee. Very convenient for a family gathering with enough space that we weren;t on top of each other. Tom & Dan were very accomodating, especially since this was a last-minute rental. I thought the rental process went very well and I'd rent from these guys again in a heartbeat.
