This little house is a beautifully furnished, quiet get-away with a sylvan view over trees, a stream, fields and Pt. Reyes Station with Black Mountain as a backdrop. The deck off the living room is great for relaxing in the sunshine, while the downstairs offers a large cozy bedroom with 600-count sheets and a bathroom complete with a claw-footed bathtub.

Minutes from several excellent restaurants, the house also has a well-appointed kitchen with all the pots and pans, dishes and implements that you will need to cook your meals at home, luxuriating in the quiet and privacy of this cottage that sits on the edge of a canyon.

The dining area can handle dinner for 6-8, and the living room gives you the choice of views, TV, or stereo. WiFi keeps you in touch with the world -- if you must!!!

Our most relaxing time

We spent an extended weekend here over Thanksgiving. The place is wonderful! It's comfortable, clean, very tasteful and colorful with many thoughtful details, well equipped and has a beautiful view over the wetlands and the town of Point Reyes. The area is one of the greatest in California and US.
We can't wait to go back!

The house is lovely, well-equipped, inviting and charming with a beautiful view. We loved the sense that we were away from everything yet a short drive from many wonderful hiking trails as well as Point Reyes Station and its wonderful food.
We look forward to returning.

My husband and I were thrilled with our stay at this secluded, extremely well maintained getaway. The description doesn't due it justice. The view is magnificent and the accommodations quite comfortable. It is proximal to one of the most beautiful areas in Northern California. Well worth it!!!

wonderful new years retreat

my boyfriend and i stayed here this past NYE and were simply blown away. this is not someone's run down vacation house, this is an amazing home. The location couldnt be better, as you are a five minute drive to downtown Point Reyes..and if you were a walker, it could definitely be a pleasant twenty minute walk. The house is set on a hill so green and lush it feels like a jungle. At night it is utterly quiet except for the wind from the sea. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and the owner also has a great spice collection. I will stay there again as soon as possible!
