Beautiful 2008-updated condo has great location right next to the pool and hot tub. Beautiful greenery and palm trees surround, with the McDowell Mountains setting the background. Enjoy the late afternoon purple hues, dramatic sunsets and quiet, colorful mornings. Nearby are WestWorld (a nationally recognized, user-friendly equestrian center and special events facility), the Mayo Hospital, Kierland Shopping Center, City North, Desert Ridge, TPC Scottsdale, Troon, Pinnacle Peak, DC Ranch Market Street and more. Condo has large living room, modern kitchen with granite counters. What'll Keep You Coming Back: As South Dakota residents, warm weather was the primary draw for us to vacation in Scottsdale. Now that we've been there several times, we've found some local favorites that keep us coming back (especially the restaurants)! Be sure to check out our recommendations below when you're in the area. They're sure to keep you coming back for more (and after one stay at the Allison, you won't be able to resist).

Our Favorite Scottsdale Places to Eat: Flo's Asian Kitchen - 10 minute drive located at 16495 N Scottsdale Rd. --- Carlos O'Brien's Mexican Restaurant - 5 minute drive located at 7111 East Bell Road. --- Streets of NY Pizza - 5 minute drive located at Pima & Frank Lloyd Wright. --- Sugar Bowl Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant - 15 minute drive located in the heart of Old Scottsdale at 4005 N Scottsdale Rd.

Favorite Places We've Visited: Dreamy Draw Recreation Area - Hiking, biking and horse-back riding mountain trails showcasing native plants in their natural habitat. 20 minute drive on I-10 Freeway to SR-51. Take SR-51 Northbound to the Northern Ave exit and turn right (East). This will take you right into the Dreamy Draw recreation area.

--- McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park - A fun family location with a large children's playground, carousel and historic Pullman train. 10 minute drive located at 7301 E. Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale.

--- Old Town Scottsdale. 15 minute drive located on Scottsdale Rd between Indian School and Camelback Rds. The best place we found for a variety of souvenirs. Our favorite store: Scottsdale Southwest at 7221 E 1st Ave (just two blocks from the Sugar Bowl).

--- Desert Botanical Gardens. 15 minute drive to 1201 N. Galvin Parkway, Phoenix. 50 acres of beautiful outdoor exhibits home to 139 rare, threatened and endangered plant species from around the world.

A Slice of Heaven, Close To Everything

My wife and I spent our anniversary here and loved the place. After our week there, we didn't want to leave. We thought your design touches were great and very tastefully done. Where did you get that wonderful couch? We want one. Your place was very clean and taken car of. Everything we would need, you had there. I also want to thank you for your great communication. Everything was as described. We also enjoyed some of your suggestions while there (an excellent touch). We checked out Flo's Chinese restaurant and ended up going back a second time. We also spent some time in the Desert Botanical Gardens, which was beautiful. Another fun place we went to was Greasewood Flat just up the road five or ten minutes. There must be thousands of one-dollar bills stapled to the roof inside. Lots of interesting things there. We drove over to Glendale one morning and had a great breakfast at Kiss the Cook. Tasty, tasty. Again, we loved your place and had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was there. Your vacation rental was great and the location was perfect too. My wife loved it too and didn't want to leave, so she may chime in later and add a little review of her own. Thanks again for a great stay, we hope to do it again some time (hopefully next year). Oh yeah, we signed your book too. WE highly recommend your place.

Wonderful Time!

This is the first opportunity I have had to tell you what a wonderful time we had at your condo. It is decorated so lovely. We took walks every morning then met our son in the afternoon to take him out to luch and shop. We spent some quality time with him before the wedding. The wedding was wonderful and everything was better than I expected.
We met up with our families and the whole trip was beautiful. I wanted to thank you again for adding to our joy.

Great location!

Stayed here for 2 weeks - had a great time. Condo is near lots of shopping, dining, nice movies, etc. Clean property - and very quiet, which was nice (caught up on some sleep!). Would definitely recommend.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

We enjoyed our stay in your condo.

It was very clean and comfortable. We were busy each day and looked forward to relaxing in the condo in the evenings. We enjoyed the neighborhood and walked for 30 or 40 minutes each night after dinner. People we met were very friendly. Too much to see in one trip so we'll have to return. Thanks.

Great condo.`

Great condo. Made our stay very comfortable. The weather was perfect. We went to three Sox games and visited Sedona and the Grand Canyon. This condo has great access to the 101. Made getting around super easy. We had many wonderful meals. Thanks for everything.
