Spectacular newly constructed oceanfront 5BR/4BA luxury villa in Rum Point on Grand Cayman's northern coast. 'Coral Kai' offers 4,000 sq. ft. under roof and an additional 2,000 sq ft. veranda, tiled deck and pool area. Vaulted ceilings, separate TV room & open floor plan all contribute to a relaxing atmosphere for a Caribbean Holiday. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, ceiling fans, central A/C, Internet access and telephones. Charcoal BBQ Grill. Only restrictions are that the owner is very wary of accommodating small children, as the pool deck gets slippery when wet. Also, a $500 damage deposit is held on a credit card. Sandy beach, great snorkeling and proximity to restaurant's and the Rum point Club make 'Coral Kai' a very desirable home. This is a non-smoking home.

The overall experience was excellent. Details regarding the house and location matched and/or exelled our ideas. Location was excellent as it was away from the crowded area of 7 mile beach and yet had some wonderful retaurants very close by.

The only 'negative' comment is that the tiles on verandah and surrounding pool were indeed very slippery. It is a pity the buoilders did not think more caregfully about this and use tiles which could be quite hazardous. having said that, we had no problems, and still maintain an 'Excellent' overview. Very young children could get hurt.
Owner's Response: Travertine tiles are Very slippery on the verandah at this home-- so we discourage small children. Otherwise 5BR Coral Kai is a spectacular property and like this family said-- it exceeds expectations--"You never get a second chance at a first impression". JIM

Coral Kai was absolutely perfect for our annual family vacation. With its 5 bedrooms with private baths, large covered patio, private pool, and private beach it met the needs of everyone. The home was away from the crowded part of the Grand Caymans but close enough to 3 of the best restaurants on the island. Jim Leavitt, rental broker, did a great job of providing all the information a renter needs to find their way around the island, restaurants, fishing, golfing, customs, and etc. Sislyn, Coral Kai's day to day manager, was always available and quick to respond to any questions that we may have had. We would highly recommend this as a vacation home, especially to first time Grand Cayman visitors.

A perfect vacation in every way. The House is perfect,an unexcelled view , great shaded veranda, and refreshing pool. Snorkeling is incredible (especially in front of the big blue house) The Kaibo Yacht Club upstairs was great. All the restuarants in Jims reviews were great. Ocean Frontiers was a great diving operation and Indigo Divers offered quality private diving. The Starfish at the point past Kaibo were incredible, the bioluminescent trip at night from Kaibo was truly amazing. All in all the best location on the island and we will be back.

Coral Kai was a wonderful spot for our family vacation. The photos don't do the home justice -- as you enter the front door, pool, beach and ocean are all visible through the back wall that is nearly all windows. Spectaular! The house is well situated for families with children, with the master suite relatively private to one side of the living area and most of the other bedrooms opposite. The home is nicely appointed with a great kitchen and plenty of towels for bath and pool. The outdoor space is wonderful. Lots of shade if you need it, and sun if you don't. Coral formations with interesting fish are an easy swim from Coral Kai's beach. The booking agent, Jim, was great to work with, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience.

Wonderful Cayman week at Coral Kai

We had a wonderful week at Coral Kai. The house is fabulous -- well set up to give parents a bit of privacy and lots of room for children. All of the facilities are pristine and excellent. Well appointed rooms, lots of cookware in the kitchen, ample fluffy towels, etc. Although there are houses nearby, the siting gives plenty of privacy. The terrace is delightful and shady, and the beach is lovely. Very breezy and pleasant, even on hot August days. The strong swimmers in our familly could easily reach several coral formations with lots of lovely fish. Even the poor swimmer in the group and the youngest (9) could easily find great snorkeling right off the beach. The agent and the on-island manager were both helpful and delightful.
