The Almond House is located on the north shore of Roatan in the Honduran Bay Islands. It's part of Palmetto Bay Plantation, a residential resort community of over 106 acres of secluded and protected beachfront and hillside covered with tropical vegetation. The bay includes a one mile long beach, dock and natural harbor. Diving and snorkeling on the reef are excellent and the reef is just a few hundred feet off shore. The pool, activity center and restaurant are tucked just beyond the tree line on the beach. The Almond House is one of the Beachfront Villas about a minute walk to the water's edge. The house is fully equipped and has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and sleeps six people. The main living area and bedrooms open out onto large covered decks, the best places to spend the early morning and late afternoon.

In the Western Caribbean, Roatan is part of the Bay Islands of Honduras, just north of the Honduran mainland and just south of Belize. The island is on the MesoAmerica reef, the largest reef in the Western Hemisphere. Roatan is a verdant, hilly island with rich flora and fauna, both above and below the water line. Palmetto Bay is a secluded and quiet bay on the north side of the island, with easy access to shopping and restaurants, all tourist activities, and the airport. The Almond House is located in Palmetto Bay Plantation at Palmetto Bay and is one of the Beachfront Villas. The reef just off of Palmetto Bay is alive with healthy coral and fish life because this area has just begun to be explored by divers.
