STUNNING, SOPHISTICATED, UPDATED CONDO Unit 307 is a premier 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium located in the gorgeous 14 story Crystal Shores complex within walking distance of shopping, dinner, drinks and more.

If you are looking for a bargain price or a last minute special on a rental, this is not the unit for you. This is not a rental property but a property that I rent. My goal is to provide an exceptional vacation experience as to your accommodations while in Gulf Shores.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - This breathtaking 3rd Floor corner unit directly overlooks the pool, the beach boardwalk, and you are only 30 seconds away from the work out and game room facilities! You can take the stairs directly outside this unit and be at the pool within 1 minute and literally be on the beach within 2 minutes and in Gulf in less than 3 minutes. With this unit comes 1 reserved covered (no sun/hail damage) parking space within 50 feet of the 2 elevators. A second additional parking space is available in the non-reserved portion of the parking area if needed for $20.

Crystal Shores is one of the newer (2004) condominium complexes sitting directly on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores. Complete with an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, dry sauna, work-out room with TV’s allowing you to easily overlook both the beach and the pool! The game room is equipped with both pool and foosball tables for your enjoyment off the beach. WIFI Internet is included as is NETFLIX for those occasional rainy days when you have to stay in so no need to run to the store for Redbox. Charcoal grills are available for our guests use as well but you must bring your own charcoal/starter. Rental chaise lounges/umbrella's are available March to November from a 3rd party for $120/week. My Beach Chair Upgrade Option as listed is available year round and is a free upgrade for guests from August 30th to Feb 28th 2015 ($88.80 value).

This a corner unit with 9ft ceilings so it has a light and airy feeling to it. We have updated, upgraded, and up-scaled from top to bottom! I have elected to appoint this unit very comfortably for 4 adults (1 King and 1 Queen bed). I only rent weekly as well and only Saturday to Saturday. There are plenty of other units in Crystal Shores allowing 6 or shorter duration stays so if occupancy by more than 4 is needed I do work with other owners on the 3rd floor or have a west corner unit here who do accommodate up to 6. My upgrades do include ADA/chair height elongated toilet bowls in each bathroom for those of us a bit older :).

Upscale bedding is in both bedrooms which have “Ecowood” tile floors and sisal carpet runners. Both bedrooms feature flat screen TV's (Samsung/Visio).

The main room has a 43” Samsung Plasma TV and a BluRay/NETFLIX/DVD/CD player to complete your entertainment experience. Currently we still have a Queen sized sleeper sofa but that will be converted to a conventional sofa at some point. There are granite top tables and 2 recliners (one rocks & swivels) completing the furnishings in the main room.

The dining room set has 4 leather chairs and an alligator glass topped table. There are 2 more matching bar chairs for the kitchen eating area as well. Again our focus is a great vacation space for 4, not 4+.

The kitchen is fully stocked, has both granite counters and granite/stone/glass tile back splash for those who savor cooking, an upscale cozy space to do so.

The in unit laundry room features new upgraded full size Maytag Bravos HE washer and dryer (March 2013) with a drying rack, an iron and ironing board with the laundry detergent provided. The sheets and towels were just replaced (April 2014) with 600 count equivalent microfiber and plush towels. Both providing a difference you will feel!

My unit has been furnished with a rich mixture of colors, textures, with original art work throughout. The well-appointed living and dining rooms boast style, function, and comfort. One thing you must experience in person however is the sunsets from this corner unit as they do not readily translate into either pictures or words…. If you are the type of person who appreciates the difference between lamps in the bathroom versus nightlights in an outlet, or the difference between steam versus damp mopping the floors, then this is the unit for you. Whether you have stayed at Crystal Shores before or not, please take a moment to read the comments from my guests as to their stay at Unit 307 as we work very hard to make your stay at our condo truly exceptional!

The balcony directly overlooks the beach and the pool, and no unit is closer to both. On the balcony or inside with the doors open you will hear the surf cascading onto the white sand beaches. It is furnished with a selection of 4 HDPE captains chairs, 2 with a connecting table so as to provide a view above the railings. During the hot summer months you remain cool in the shade. During the cooler winter months you will feel the warmth of the sun relaxing in those same chairs providing you with a great unobstructed view of the sunset on the beach.

In order to accommodate some guest requests I now offer an upgrade option for $80/week. This upgrade provides: 4 folding wood rocking chairs with headrests as well as a cup/cellphone phone holder. 4 aluminum low rider waters edge chairs. 4 umbrellas, 6 Beach Towels. 2 wireless speakers for IPOD (yours) or my MP3 player with over 800 'best of' 70's and 80's tunes included. 1 George Foreman electric outdoor grill for use on the balcony only, a 3 gallon compressor so you can blow up your beach items daily as desired, and a cooler for the beach. This upgrade is included free of charge from the first full week in September until the last full week in February. Please do not leave the chairs/towels/umbrellas/etc. on the beach overnight.

I own, clean, inventory, and maintain my own unit so you can expect it to be very clean, completely stocked (soap/paper products/cleaners), and in good condition upon your arrival, no excuses. If there is an issue or one that comes up, I live only 5 miles away. There are no pets allowed at Crystal Shores except for owners. This is a non-smoking unit as well including the balcony. There is community use smoking balcony available on the second level.

While I appreciate your interest in my unit I do not entertain/accept/reply to discounted offers.

ALL RENTALS ARE WEEKLY AND RUN SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. From March through October there are only weekly rentals available.

RATES - Please note that if there is no daily rate posted, there is no daily rental offered. Four week 'monthly' rentals are available from November through February and vary by month and length of stay. 'Monthly' Rentals begin the first Saturday of the month for 4 weeks. Please inquire as to rates, conditions, and amenities included.

DEPOSIT - The Deposit would be in addition to the Rental Rate and a $300 deposit is required to hold a date for a weekly or daily rental. A $600 deposit is required for a monthly rental.

Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 9:00 AM. There are shower/changing facilities on the second floor should you choose to arrive earlier and/or stay later on that Saturday but the reserved parking space transfers to the next renter at 9 AM on day of departure.

The condo association does not allow RV's or trailers on the property and occupancy is restricted to 6 people overnight per unit (though my unit limit is 4) and I make sure my unit and my guests are in compliance with the Association rules.

CALENDAR - Please consult the calendar for available dates as it is ALWAYS current. No dates are held w/o paid deposit via PayPal. I use PayPal for all Deposits. The use of PayPal allows you to insure your dates are immediately held upon your approval of the invoice and contract terms. You do not have to have a PayPal account as PayPal supports AMEX/Discover/MasterCard/Visa.

Once paid in full you will be sent an email prior to your arrival with an access code to the keys. The parking pass(es) will be inside on the counter so nothing to forget and nothing to pick-up or return. Most deposits are returned in full (less PayPal 3%) within 24 hrs or you can request US Mail for full deposit typically received within a week to 10 days of your departure w/o the 3% PayPal will charge you.

Vacations should be simple and relaxing so I've tried to make that true from the moment you view this listing to the moment you get an email notification your deposit has already been processed once you've left Gulf Shores.

About The Owner

I purchased this property in November of 2011 with the intention to rent it to adults and it is furnished as such. Your children are welcome but there are no games/toys/floaties/beach pails provided with this unit so please be sure to bring those types of items with you if they are needed.

There are literally thousands of condo's available for rental in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The goal for this condo was specifically to create an environment where vacation memories would be created for a party of 4.

As of May 2012 I relocated from IL and now live in Gulf Shores so as to be able to personally provide the cleaning and maintenance for my unit and a few others at this complex. There are no 3rd party maintenance or cleaning people involved with my unit. This is not my vacation home that I rent out to help cover the costs. The left over furniture and dishes end up in my home and the new furnishings and linens end up here!

If you are looking to make vacation memories with your loved ones, I am literally here now to help you accomplish that while staying at my unit.

Why The Owner chose Gulf Shores

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...Please read my guests reviews as to why Unit 307.

Gulf Shores has beautiful fine white sand beaches, some of the best in the US. Crystal Shores is one of the premier properties having year round amenities and within walking distance to a number of places to eat or shop. Forgot toothpaste, the Pier 33 grocery store is within a 5 minute walk for just such occasions. Crystal Shores is a nice location within Gulf Shores... close but not too close to everything.

Within Crystal Shores, unit 307 has the best location. It is an end unit with an unobstructed view down the beach to the west. You can look down onto the pool/hut tub and close enough to actually speak to someone below without shouting from the balcony. The work out and game room as well as the sauna are literally right below. The reserved covered parking space is about 50-60 feet from the 2 elevators and the second floor parking access is even closer just up 1 flight of stairs. Down those same stairs the beach is less than 2 minutes away from this unit.... and that is at a leisurely pace. After all you are on vacation while here!

While I can't control the weather or the traffic, I do clean and maintain my own unit personally so I can and do control what you will experience inside of the unit while you are here. If you read the reviews, most have been kind enough to comment as to the quality of the amenities and level of cleanliness they observed. I very much listen to what my guests say they need and to the extent I can, make improvements/adjustments. Should you decide to stay here, hopefully you too will also notice and comment on those differences. From the start Crystal Shores 307 was never meant to be just another rental property. I do not treat my guests as renters and I do not expect my guests to treat this as a rental unit either. If that sounds like the vacation experience you are seeking, I look forward to providing that for you!

What makes this condo unique

The beautiful white sand beaches are literally 1 to 2 minutes away from this unit as is the pool, the sauna, the the hot tub, the game room, the work out facilities and your car in a reserved covered parking space. Best of all however is the view to the west. No way to describe it short of breathtaking! When you stay at Crystal Shores 307, you feel like you are at the beach... not just looking at it!

Beautiful Condo

This two bedroom condo was perfect for our family of three. Being on the third floor and on the corner which was quiet, was perfect and we did not feel we were missing out not being higher. Also, being on the corner was an added bonus as the windows wrapped around the room and the view was excellent. Very convenient to the beach as well. The chairs on the balcony were very comfortable to sit and enjoy the gulf day or evening. Everything in the condo was top notch and in working order. Michael was extremely prompt and helpful in returning our emails and great to work with. The week we were here the weather was perfect and we enjoyed our first time trip to Gulf Shores immensely. We would definitely return to condo 307!

A Wonderful Vacation

We could not have asked for a better condo to stay in for our week in Gulf Shores. This condo is beautiful and the decor is very upscale...just as the pictures show. It was very clean and having the nice washer and dryer in the unit came in very handy. It also felt very spacious for our family. Our favorite place was the balcony. With this being an end unit the view is even more spectacular. We sat on the balcony every morning with our coffee watching the dolphins swim and every afternoon with our lunch and every evening with our drinks. We absolutely loved it! And, you can't get much closer to the beach than this condo. You can be in the water in just a couple of minutes. We had a great time eating at the Hangout while we were there, loved the Nachos at the Pink Pony, and had great crab claws at the Shrimp Basket. Michael is very easy to work with and you can tell how much pride he takes in this unit. We would definitely reccomend this property!

Excellent stay at Crystal Shores - a place I would love to call home!!

This is my family's 4th time to Gulf Shores and this has been by far the best!! The condo was just beautiful, very clean, and an excellent location! We stayed at Crystal Shores last time, but a different unit which was not available. We knew that we wanted to stay in Crystal Shores again but wasn't sure it was going to be possible as I was looking for a distinct style. I was thrilled when I found this one! The photos showed me exactly what I was looking for but it was even better in person. We came at a very busy time...usually come in September, but it still was great!! We were given advance notice of the busy time and some alternate suggestions for routes coming into Gulf Shores, times of day when it might be less crowded to go and eat or shop, and time of day to get out ahead of traffic on day of departure. The owner was extremely kind and helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed and to feel free to call if we needed anything. I will recommend this particular unit to all of my friends and family and it will certainly be the one I go to every time. You couldn't ask for a better location to shops, restaurants, etc...we even walked to some of them! I have always loved Gulf Shores and after this last experience it is where I want to call home permanently!! Thank you so much for such an AWESOME vacation! I can't say enough great things about it so you should see it for yourself and be prepared to have a wonderful stay!

Owner's Response: Chrissy, Thank you once more for choosing Crystal Shores 307. It is indeed a different by design experience from most of the units at Crystal Shores. While you are literally on the beach, my unit does not have a beach theme but more of an upscale feel with a nod to being on the shoreline. Everyone says it is better in person but not sure what I can do with the images to reflect that but those who have stayed in other units at Crystal Shores do say by far the best and they do indeed come back to 307 so whatever it is or however it is presented, it seems to work for my guests and that works for me!
Exceptionally clean is a given for me as I am a little OCD about that. It takes a bit longer when cleaning to make sure of that but worth the extra hour or two in my opinion.
So glad you enjoyed your time down here and perhaps one day you too will do like I did and make Gulf Shores your home one day!! Thanks again, Michael

Terrific choice in Gulf Shores

We thought this was a great choice for a condo on many avenues. It had a great central location, it was very comfortable and had every amenity that we needed, and we loved having a covered parking spot. The owner was very attentive and detailed to us both leading up to the visit and during our stay. We needed him for a small repair at one point and he was very efficient and available. He had accounted for almost every small detail you could think of for our stay-laundry detergent, soaps, dishwashing detergent, etc . Had great linens. We were impressed with the condo set up as a whole.
We opted for the additional beach chair option and this turned out to be great. We utilized our chairs and umbrellas everyday and it was much more reasonable to do it this way. Personally, we loved being on the third floor. It had enough of a birds eye view and yet we could take the stairs down very quickly to the walkway out and not have to wait on the elevator. Also-This condo was very quiet. We never heard our neighbors and the complex was very full during our stay with other families, groups and children. A+ in our book!

The view was good, the access to the beach was simple and easy, being an end unit there was more light and privacy as no one walks past your unit. Notes The Optional Beach Chair Rental is available from the first full week rental in September through the last week in February to my guests w/o an additional charge else $80/week. $300 deposit via PayPal to hold dates converted to damage deposit once full rental payment has been received. Deposits refunded in full within 7-10 days of departure presuming no damaged/missing items.
