Sorrento Villa Rental Photos and Description
4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, Jacuzzi, Infinity swimming pool, and Hot Tub!
Villa Miragalli is a house of 240 sq.mt. with a 1500 sq. mt. garden, Infinity pool, hot tub, balconies and a terrace with a fascinating view of the sea and the coastline. It is suitable for max ten people, as there are four bedrooms and one wide sofa bed. There is also air conditioning. Although the house is built on a high rocky peak from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view that overlooks the sea, it is discreet and therefore does not spoil the extraordinary natural beauty of the place. When you are standing on the terraces, you will realize that you have found, at last, the perfect place you have been searching for to spend your holidays: in front of you there is the wide horizon of the sea and sky, beneath you the emerald green of the Amalfi coastline and the unmistakable shape of the Li Galli and Vetara isles. As from up here you are 250 meters above sea level, your eyes sweep over steep headlands and pinnacles of rock and a hole in the mountain, that protrude from the sea. Better view impossible!
More description!: It is a dizzying experience, therefore when you first arrive you may want to take a minute to get your breath back. This view extends across the most wild and unspoiled part of the Amalfi Coast. There is peace and tranquility, the air is pure and clear, and although you may feel as if you are in another world, the festive holiday atmosphere of the coast is only just around the corner. A few steps from the entrance to the villa there is a well-known viewpoint that caters to people who want to stop and enjoy the panorama, one of the most beautiful views on the coast. From here starts the famous path for walkers called the Sant' Elia Path (ask for details), which descends towards the sea through bushes and the typical flora of the Mediterranean maquis, and offers you incomparable glimpses of the panorama. The path, once used by the inhabitants to reach the sea, leads you to an old abandoned fisherman’s hut on a peak overlooking the sea.
The Villa is 'Mosquito Magnet 'equipped ( special equipment USA brevet), so outside is totally mosquito free!!

Hi! My name is Bruno Acampora. I’m the owner of Villa Miragalli.
In September 2003, after ten years of living in Punta del Este, Uruguay and Paris, France working as a private Bank Manager, I came back to Sorrento (like the famous song “Torna a Surriento”) and I started to rent my own Villa.
Friends who own other beautiful villas asked to join in and rent their properties with my help. I was pleased to do it as I had a lot of requests about houses overlooking the sea in Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
So, on January 2005 I start my new business as Vacation Villas and Holidays Homes Agent trough my Agency www.villatorent.it
I received tons of inquiries from web agencies and friends, and after many years of hard work the Agency is now a reality with hundreds of Bookings per year! And… first of all… many excellent reviews on the web.
I take care a lot my web-reputation!
Should you need any kind of suggestions in choosing your accommodations or planning your vacation in Italy, please let me know.
Villa Miragalli was built in 1966 by my parents. In the beginning, the project was to establish a restaurant on the property and name it ” Ristorante Miragalli” . Many people, considered the project crazy, because the property was too steep, making it difficult to build such a dining establishment.
After years of work and big investments….the dream came true!
I’ll be glad to help you! You can also Skype me or call me on my mobile phone at +39.339.281.5129. Please keep in mind that Italy is GMT +1 time zone!
I speak fluent English, French, Spanish, Portoguese, and of course Italian!
Bruno purchased this villa in 1966
Guestbook comments from the manager
My parents were generous to take all their kids and significant others on a vacation for THEIR 60th birthdays! We spent weeks reviewing and surfing the internet through many over-priced or impersonal villa rental options throughout Italy before landing on Villa Miragalli. We read the reviews and as beautiful as the Villa was online, what spoke to us was how highly people spoke about Bruno the owner. We are the type of people who care more about relationships and the personality of the owner than the write-up online. We rolled the dice and came up big!! We flew from Minneapolis,NYC and Detroit to Rome drove two hours to the Villa and open the gates to the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!! The property was spectacular in every way. The grounds were perfectly manicured, overlooking L'Galli islands which are two little tiny islands in the sea that are so picturesque. Many people dock their boats around them on weekends to enjoy the swimming and sunshine. We sat on the deck and watched from luxury. Upon arrival, Bruno had the fridge stocked by request with wine, beer and Italian delicacies. We opened vino, made the most incredible meat and cheese plate and began the best vacation of our lives. We had grand plans of visiting lots of sites and towns nearby but many days we opted not to leave the heaven that was the Villa. When we did go out to another town, we were well situated near Positano, Praiano, Sorrento and more. One day we took the bus to Sorrento and then hopped the train to Pompeii. Super easy and affordable. Other days Bruno was wonderful to have his friends taxi service get us from place to place in an 8-person van. Other days we did things like boat rides or wine tours and Bruno was so kind to make phone calls and help us navigate the language barrier. One day he even took us out to Capri on his own beautiful boat!! Like I said it was tough to leave the Villa - we stayed in and cooked in the great kitchen and outdoor grill 5 nights! Why leave the view, the grounds and the people you love! We slept well in our very updated, clean rooms. There was washer/dryer, cable TV - we even stayed up til 3am to watch the NBA Finals!!! When we did go out, we loved Stellalucia which is walking distance up the street, and the people who run the town market did everything to understand our English frquests and offered us free espresso shots. The town, the people, the Villa and Bruno made it the best vacation our family has ever taken!!
