Villa Miragalli is a house of 135 sq.mt. with a 1500 sq. mt. garden, balconies and a terrace with a fascinating view of the sea and the coastline. It is suitable for six people, as there are two bedrooms and one wide sofa bed. There is also air conditioning. Although the house is built on a high rocky peak from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view that overlooks the sea, it is discreet and therefore does not spoil the extraordinary natural beauty of the place. When you are standing on the terraces, you will realise that you have found, at last, the perfect place you have been searching for to spend your holidays: in front of you there is the wide horizon of the sea and sky, beneath you the emerald green of the Amalfi coastline and the unmistakable shape of the Li Galli and Vetara isles. As from up here you are 250 meters above sea level, your eyes sweep over steep headlands and pinnacles of rock and a hole in the mountain, that protrude from the sea. Better view impossible!

The house is 5 km (3 miles) away from Meta di Sorrento and the beach, 7 km (4.5 miles) from Sorrento and the beaches and 9 km (5.5 miles) from Positano and the beaches ( highly suggested beach). The nearest village 'Colli di Fontanelle' centre with shops and restaurants is 800 meters (half a mile) away. The bus stop is front to the villa, that's an almost exclusive stop for the villa's guests! Anyway the car is recommended. In the villa there is a Menu of the Restaurant ' Stelluccia' of Colli di Fontanelle, the guests can order by phone, and it will be delivery free of charge in few minutes, really cheap price and really good quality of local delicious food. The locations is one of the ' must' the villa is situated between Sorrento and Positano, at least of an ' end road' 10-15 minutes from Sorrento or Positano, in a quiet position faraway from traffic .

More description!: It is a dizzying experience, therefore when you first arrive you may want to take a minute to get your breath back. This view extends across the most wild and unspoiled part of the Amalfi Coast. There is peace and tranquillity, the air is pure and clear, and although you may feel as if you are in another world, the festive holiday atmosphere of the coast is only just around the corner. A few steps from the entrance to the villa there is a well-known viewpoint that caters to people who want to stop and enjoy the panorama, one of the most beautiful views on the coast. From here starts the famous path for walkers called the Sant' Elia Path (ask for details), which descends towards the sea through bushes and the typical flora of the Mediterranean maquis, and offers you incomparable glimpses of the panorama. The path, once used by the inhabitants to reach the sea, leads you to an old abandoned fisherman’s hut on a peak overlooking the sea.

The Villa is 'Mosquito Magnet 'equipped ( special equipment USA brevect), so outside is totally mosquito free!! Central heating with Pellet/wood stove euro 100 weekly if needed, usually only Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb/March.

We spent a wonderful holiday in Villa Miragalli in August 2009. The villa is great and the views are amazing. Bruno was very attentive and gave lots of advice. We had some lovely day trips to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Capri, Positano, Ravello, but best of all was being at the villa, relaxing, enjoying the pool and the view and generally chilling out.
We didn't even have to cook to eat in - the best value restaurant in the area (Stellucia) delivers to the door!

Thank you, Bruno, for all of your assistance, kindess and consideration during our stay at your villa! Due to some pretty wild storms, we experienced some problems with power, etc. but Bruno was quite attentive and quickly strove to address any problems that arose; he also arranged for a lost piece of luggage to be delivered to his own personal residence, so that we were not stuck for a second day waiting for the airline to deliver it to the villa.

The property has an amazingly gorgeous view and is private and nicely appointed. Overall, it is a wonderfully beautiful place to come and unwind!

Thank you, again, Bruno, for all of your kindness; we hope to see you again someday!

Ten days back in rainy Blighty and the magic of Villa Miragalli is yet to diminish. We enjoyed seven days of sheer bliss with perfect weather in perfect surroundings and, being novices to Italy, are now thoroughly smitten. Summers past have seen our family (two adults and two boys, 8 & 5) usually holed up in various rented villas in Antibes and Ibiza - all lovely. BUT, in all honesty, in our opinion, Villa Miragalli and the Amalfi Coast beat these locations hands down. The photos of the villa are stunning but the reality more so. We are extremely particular and I am always accused of having too high expectations and I am happy to say that I have no disappointment to share with you. The villa is beautifully appointed, clean, spacious, airy and the garden & views jaw-dropping. I could so easily go into superlative overdrive! We generally lazed the days away in the pool and garden then pottered into Positano, Sorrento, Nareno - all of which stunning, and the infamous local Pizzeria of an evening. We hired a boat one day care of Bruno's contact Salvatore and this proved a highlight - exploring the grottos of Capri and the villages and coves of the Amalfi Coast. We crave the locally-bought logs of fresh Mozzarella and I can 100% vouch for the digestive benefits of a nightly Limoncello - so much so that I am supping one as I type! Of course, what we should really be saying is that the whole place is terrible, Bruno has zero people skills and stay well away, so that we can be sure of securing a booking next year! But that would be too cruel. Bruno is a delightful host and his house and hospitality provided myself and my family with our best holiday ever.

After spending our holidays in Villa Miragalli in Oct 2006, we felt in love with this special place and we decided to come back someday.
The lovingly furnished villa, the wonderful view over amalfi-coast, the beautiful garden, the barbeque-grill, the friendly and helpful owner Bruno, the pizzeria "stellucia" close by........in fact, we can´t imagine to find any better place to spend our holidays!
And so....we really CAME back in Oct. 2008 and we enjoyed our stay as much as two years ago!

The Villa and views are even more beautiful than the pictures! We arrived in early September and enjoyed a full week of sunshine. The villa and gardens are self-contained, spacious and very private. We felt like movie-stars in our own private villa hiding away from the paparazzi. We enjoyed relaxing at the villa, but also took many memorable excursions including: Sorrento, Positano, Pompeii, and Capri (by private boat).

The owner was great and made us feel right at home. He was available for any questions and also made many wonderful recommendations. The private dinner at the villa arranged by the owner was an exceptional experience.

A magical and romantico experience we will never forget!
