Spectacular custom house in fantastic location. Bright, open house with cathedral ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. Two large mahogany decks for enjoying a cup of coffee, a cookout or relaxing after a day at the beach. This house also features spacious living, kitchen and dining areas. In addition to the main living area there is a master bedroom (king) with french doors to the back deck and outdoor shower. The full en suite master bath includes 2 sinks and an x-large shower. The guest bedroom has two beds (queen and twin). The third bedroom/den has a double pull out sofa bed and TV/DVD. The lower level family room has a TV/DVD and day bed. Separate laundry area on main level. The house was entirely rebuilt and renovated in 2000 and newly furnished in 2008. Situated a few blocks from the beach and walking distance to town. Located nearby are bike paths, conservation areas, the oldest house and Something Natural - the best sandwich shop on the island.

Special events at Jetties Beach include Fourth of July Fireworks and the Boston Pops. Walking distance to town, a historical whaling port, that boasts some of the best restaurants, galleries and shopping, including the newly renovated Whaling Museum. Close by are conservation areas including Lily Pond, Tupancy Links and Sanford Farm. History abounds on Nantucket and you are steps away from the Oldest House. Biking paths close by and miles of unspoiled beaches.

Our time at Dixie was a perfect vacation. It's recently renovated, beautifully furnished - all the right touches. Plenty of room, quiet, private and just a short walk to downtown Nantucket. We'll be back again this summer !
