This Elegant home was professionally designed to capture the spectacular views of the Ocean. The home was completely remodeled and includes a rich interior with state of the art kitchen appliances, wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, central A/C and internet. Near the end of a quiet block, this home is extremely safe at any hour of the day or night and minutes from the beach.

Ideally located for jogging, cycling and all water activities including a kayak entry point. Perfect for family vacations, artists, entertaining and relaxing.

Westport is 1 hour by train from midtown Manhattan. The view from the home overlooks the ocean which is in a calm bay and perfect for relaxing, reading, beach combing and swimming. Two blocks from the house is a grocery/deli with morning coffee, sandwiches, pizza, supplies, etc. Next to the deli is fine dining at a 3-star Restaurant. There is also a Bus to the Train Station

Compo Beach (Westport's main beach) is a 10 minute walk along the shore and has Showers, Bathrooms, Lifeguards, Playground, Barbecues, Volleyball, etc. A few more minutes away is Long Shore Country Club with an 18 hole Golf Course, 3 Pools, Tennis Courts and Sailboat / Windsurfer / Kayak rentals at the sailing school. Long Shore has a renowned Restaurant / Bar named Splash and an Inn for overnight accommodations.

a week at the beach

our family stayed here with two adults and 3 kids under 3. since we had limited mobility given our kids ages we wanted to be able to enjoy the location and walk to the things we'd most use. it was perfect! we could walk to old mill in just minutes and have a very kid-friendly spot to hang out at and, we could just enjoy the view of the sound from the main room in the house or the master bedroom. we also enjoyed the longer walk to the main beach at compo with the playground and restaurant.

the house was very comfortable for us and the kids. we were able to make the two smaller bedrooms dark for the kids to sleep in comfortably. we cooked every night in the kitchen too.

the house just lives really well. i'd highly recommend it.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

You will fall in love with this home the minute you step in the front door. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and stunning views make it like a 5 star resort. A gorgeous beach and a walkable community are just steps away. Owner is responsive and friendly. I've rented 4 other houses in the area and this one tops them all. I highly recommend it.
