Poipu Kai Resort has 80 acres of lush, tropical gardens & walking paths. It's many amenities include swimming pools, jacuzzis, 9 tennis courts and barbecue areas. Enjoy ocean views from two levels of this spacious 1,600+ square foot remodeled family condo. Brazilian cherry floors, cherry cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances and a fully stocked kitchen help provide all of the comforts of home. The luxurious master suite has it's own private view lanai, king size bed, relaxing seating area, large screen TV and walk-in closet. The master bathroom has two granite topped vanities, a jetted tub and a sumptuous spa shower with a 'Rain' style shower head, 4 body jets, hand sprayer and natural onyx floor. A portable crib, baby gate, child's' step stool & high chair are provided for our youngest guests.

The 84 acres of Poipu Kai Resort is next to Brenneke, Poipu and Shipwreck Beach. The family friendly Poipu Beach has a restaurant, mini-mart, play area and restrooms. There is a calm lagoon with a life guard for small children to play in and areas to swim and surf. You are walking distance to almost a dozen restaurants including many at the Grand Hyatt Resort. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes and Costco is a short 20 minute drive.

  • Newly remodeled condo in 2008! Enjoy new carpets, flooring, linens, kitchen amenities.
    A damage deposit of $500 is required at booking to confirm your reservation. The deposit is separate from the rental fee and will be refunded by mail approximately two weeks after your departure. The deposit (Less a $75 cancellation fee) will be refunded if canceled 45 days or more prior to arrival. There are no refunds for late arrival or early departure.
    The balance of the payment is due 45 days prior to arrival to hold your reservation.
    Check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 11 am unless prior arrangements are made. This is a non-smoking home. We are fully licensed and regulated by the State of Hawaii. We accept credit card payments through Paypal.

The second bedroom has the option of one king size bed or two twin beds. Just let us know what your preference is! The second bathroom is just across the hall. The living room is has a private queen hide-a-bed with view balcony, large flat screen television, internet hook-up, dining area, kitchen and half bath.

Enjoy cooking with a double oven, 5 burner glass cook top, two drawer dishwasher and 'French Door' style refrigerator. The amenities include everything from spices, martini glasses, plastic wrap, a rice cooker and a bread machine. There are even sippy cups, children's plates & silverware, soft sided coolers and band aids.

Bask in the sun belt of tropical Kauai. Walk to the pool or stroll to the world famous beaches next to the Poipu Kai Resort. Enjoy playing in the sand, snorkeling or surfing. A dozen restaurants are within walking distance. If you have been on the plane for 6 hours, a leisurely stroll is a delight to the senses. Two golf courses are within a 5 minute drive, including the well-known Poipu Bay Resort Golf Course. There is also a scenic family course within 30 minutes that is only $9 per DAY.

This condo was more than we ever expected. The renter
went out of her way to provide extra items for you such as
all of the beach things, from beach towels, boogie boards, to sunscreen! The Kitchen was a great added feature with
the upgrades, which we used every day. This place was great, the location was perfect , we could not have had it any better. We will definately be back with our friends.
Thanks for making our stay so wonderul and full of precious memories.

Fantastic vacation at Poipu Kai Resort

We had a wonderful and enjoyable stay at the Kauai Family Condo. As a family with three teenagers, we had plenty of room, great access to the best beach on the island, and a well-stocked condo with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The condo is beautifully furnished and decorated, the kitchen is especially well done, and the balconies on each floor are really great!

We especially appreciated the downstairs closet stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkeling equipment. Made it really easy to enjoy various activities on the beach!

It's great to be within an 5-min. walk of Poipu Beach, definitely the place to be on the south side of the island.

One more bonus that we didn't really appreciate until we got there -- the condo is within a very short walk of a great tennis facility. For an $80 monthly membership, you get unlimited court time -- a good deal for us as we're pretty avid tennis players and got over there almost every day.

We recommend this condo for families with children as it really provides everything you need for a perfect family vacation.

Had absolutely everything needed to be home away from home. Amenities, views, cleanliness, environment - ALL included. Property clean and very well maintained. Owner readily available for any issues. From frying pans to kids snorkel and surf equipment - would highly recommend this rental property.

The condo owner was wonderful. She was extremely concerned that we have a great experience. She offered many suggestions to make our stay a paradise.
The condo was lovely--clean and well equipped. The photos of the condo do not do it justice.
It was a short walk to the pool and beach. Loved seeing all the monk seals on the beach.
Area contains many excellent restaurants--our favorite was Beach House.
Our one week stay can best be described as:
PRICELESS!!!
