A newly built beach retreat for bonefishing and relaxation. Half-hour drive into Port Lucaya, a fun, touristy town with straw markets, excursions, restaurants and bars, and a casino. The cottage itself is wonderfully isolated, so you can choose the kind of day you want to have. Bonefishing is world-class, right in front of the cottage. Unspoiled beaches reach for miles in either direction. The cottage is brand-new (completed in 2007) and completely equipped. The compact layout is very comfortable yet low-maintenance, with a kitchen, living and dining area elevated to maximize the view of the turquoise blue ocean. As soon as you drive out of Freeport, you start to experience the Bahamian atmosphere. Castaway Cottage enjoys a beautiful setting on a white sand beach. Stay in glorious seclusion for a week, or ride into town a few times for some fun in Port Lucaya - your choice.
