This is one of the District's tastefully renovated Historic Row Homes of Capitol Hill the 'In-Law suite' is now 'The Suite Up On The Hill'. ALL OF THESE REVIEWS CAN'T BE WRONG.
You will not believe the LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION of this Suite you are almost on top of the Capitol, National Smithsonian museums and the Federal buildings housing our elected officials and judges. 1 BLOCK UNION STATION and quiet, a few blocks from THE CAPITOL BUILDING! Our guests have been amazed at how close we are to everything and Union Station making it even easier to get around. But Union Station is more than just the train/metro station its a shopping mall (with restaurants and stores) and a must see site in itself. Our guest have give us the title 'Best Location.'
The 'Suite' located on F St NE at 2nd St. in a quiet residential neighborhood this close to Union Station and you would never know a train station was your neighbor.
This is one of the District's Historic (Built in 1890's) tastefully renovated Row Homes in the Capitol Hill area of DC the In-Law suite is now 'The Suite Up On The Hill'. Nicely decorated apartment for those conducting business or just vacationing in the nation's Capital. You will not believe the Location, Location, Location of this Suite you may see your Senator walking along the same street as you as they walk from their offices or Union Station to the Capitol. This is a trip you won't soon forget all of the history, monuments, and museums (the Suite itself was originally built in 1890's, don't worry we've modernized a few things).

The neighborhood is a very quiet and family friendly residential neighborhood. Located on F St NE at 2nd.

Unit 1: This is the one bedroom unit for those needing more space then look at Unit 2 (#323663, ) which has two bedrooms. Both are in the same great location right next to Union Station and a short walk to the Capitol.
I am Real Estate agent here in Washington DC's Capitol Hill area. So if you enjoy your trip so much you want to move, give me a call. I enjoy meeting the guests we've had from all over the world and this is just a great experience. The quality of people that have stayed with us has been amazing. Please come again you know Your Welcome.
This location is near the U.S. Capitol and next to Union Station meaning travel without a car is simple and convenient. Most of our guests fly into town and are able to get around without the need to rent a car while here. It is a pleasant walk to all the city has to offer this is the best location. If you're not a walker Union Station metro/buses, tour buses, taxis, can get you anywhere in the city.
We can't over-emphasize the location, cleanliness, peace and quiet provided by the 'Suite Up on the Hill' but the key to enjoying your stay is the owner/manager Ingrid. She is just a phone call or email away and very helpful without being too intrusive. She lives and works in this neighborhood so she can probably help with any questions or needs.
We enjoyed our 1-month stay at "The Suite". We found it very convenient, especially with two small children. I will definitely recommend the place for others attending AFIP at Walter Reed, as the ride on the Metro was well worth the location! Your hospitality is greatly appreciated. We will also be recommending "The Suite" to family and friends who plan to visit DC.
Thank you so much!
This is an outstanding accommodation in a perfect location. It was literally a stone throw from Union Station in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Big grocery store a couple short blocks away, along with many restaurants nearby, although we mostly ate in NW region, which had a bigger selection of restaurants, by still close by. It's also walking distance to the Capital and all the sites that are walkable from there. We only took the subway once (to Kennedy Center), and walked to all the rest of the sites. The suite was cozy and clean, and I'm a pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness. Okay, it wasn't perfect. I bought a bottle of wine and discovered the suite did not have a cork screw. This was easily remedied by a short walk to the store to purchase one for $1.49 - so I have no complaint there. I highly highly recommend this place. I will definitely stay here again.
My sister-in-law, 2 young nieces and I just returned from a great girl trip to DC. This is a perfect location in terms of convenience and safety which was, of course, very important to us. It is located in a super friendly and quiet neighborhood and the grocery store was very convenient which allowed us to save lots of money by eating breakfast and dinner "at home" and to relax in a home environment after long days of sightseeing. We loved it!! Would recommend wholeheartedly and hope to be a repeat customer someday.
My husband, our 2 teenage daughters, and I found this apartment to be a wonderful place to stay for our week in D.C. The location was perfect for getting on the Metro or walking around the city. The cozy apartment had everything we needed, was very clean, and Ingrid was great to work with. I definitely recommend "Suite up on the Hill."
My son and I stayed at Suite upon the Hill, a brilliant position, one block from Union Station. The suite has everything you need to cook with if you want to do self cooking but if you want to eat out Union station is close for Breakfast, there is a wonderful Mexican very close, and a good supermarket. The apartment has a lovely bedroom, with everything you need including a big TV. The lounge has a very comfortable Trundle bed, and also big TV. Plenty of towels, and anything needed for bathroom which has a great shower always hot! Air conditioning excellent, we could not fault the apartment, spotlessly clean. Ingrid and Deon were great, they would be there immediately if you required them for anything, and whenever we wanted to know where anywhere was we would email Ingrid and the answer was there in minutes, anything from laundry (very close, and excellent) to restaurants. The Metro is just down the road and very easy to use once you got use to the purchase of tickets, one block away and everybody so helpful. You could not be more central, you are within walking distance of The Capital Building, the Mall, or Metro to the Mall, China town, Pentagon City . Situation excellent, I would recommend this apartment to anybody, you could not wish for a nicer more helpful couple.
The location is spectacular. Walking distance to a number of things and so close to Union Square if you need to take public transportation. Also, walking distance to a large supermarket. Very clean and Ingrid and Deon were great to work with. Would recommend it to others.
Clean and comfortable. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Our stay was pleasant and we would choose to stay here again. We would recommend this spot without hesitation.
