Norris Lake is a wonderful clean lake that seems endless in size. You will really enjoy yourself!
After purchasing property on Norris Lake in 1999, we decided we couldn't wait any longer to build our lake home get away. Although we hired a builder, much of the work was done by us. Many hours were spent on the road back and forth between Indiana and Tennessee until we completed our home.
We love sharing our home with family and friends, enjoying it throughout the year.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this house in 2008
The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. Joanie was so helpful with recommendations for boat rentals as well as the minor problem we had upon arrival with the A/C. This house fit our entire family comfortably and was fairly quiet considering all the beautiful hardwood floors. We will absolutely return in the future. Would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy Norris Lake and still feel like they are in a luxury hotel!
Just spent a week at your lovely lakefront home with our extended family. We were very impressed with the layout of the home. Everything was so beautifully decorated. We had a big group and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The decks were amazing and we enjoyed eating breakfast and many dinners out there. My kids (and myself) loved the theater room. It was an awesome way to entertain the family after a long day on the water. The dock was perfect. It allowed some shade for Grandma and Grandpa and a swim deck for the kids. Thanks for sharing your home with us and we hope to make a return visit. Thanks Joanie for being so helpful and calling to check in with us during our stay. Fun was had by all!
Joanie's house was the perfect get away for our Cajun family. The house is beautiful and roomy. The temperatures in the area never got over 85 degree but the swimming was great. We loved the theatre room and all of the bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds. My teen loved the dungeon! The lake was absolutely wonderful and clear. We rented a pontoon boat from one of the marinas and spent an entire day on the lake. The house is the perfect location for you to get away to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for the day and then get away from the crowds when you go back. Joanie was very helpful!!!!! We hope to come back next summer.
We love swimming off the dock. Water is clear, deep and generally very warm in the summer. Many marinas on the lake serve 3 meals a day. We enjoy visiting Sequoyah for the breakfast buffets on the weekends and 'wing night' on Fridays. Star Dust is another one of our favorites along with Shanghai marinas.
