Ox Glen Vacation Rentals offers Asheville accessibility with mountain privacy for the perfect-get-a-way! We are located on a thirteen acre mountain retreat, 20 min. north of Asheville, NC, and 10 min. from the charming village of Weaverville, where there are destination restaurants, supermarkets, and lovely shops.

We are 2.2 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway to continue your scenic touring and hiking. Golf is just three miles away at Reems Creek Country Club, a premier mountain course, or ski Wolf Laurel, 30 min. to our north.

Visit the Biltmore Estate, located in Asheville, or shop the many antique shops in the area. Hike through our laurel groves and hardwood mountains on more than 6.5 acres of private trails, or just relax in your beautifully appointed lodging on your own private deck. We just returned from our stay at the Pinecone and had such a wonderful time. The location is great, so close to Weaverville and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The setting is amazing and we spent more time sitting on the front porch enjoying the scenery and silence than we did inside! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay (we were pleasantly surprised with how many cooking/baking items were available in the kitchen for us to use!) We hope to be back again, thank you!

Expanded Pinecone is exactly as described. From making the reservation to checking out, everything went smoothly. Marianne is wonderful to work with. The cabin has everything you will need for a great vacation and it is pet friendly. There are so many amenities, it's difficult knowing where to start in listing them. The cabin is spotless and has adequate space for a family of 8-10 (adults) to relax and enjoy themselves. There are 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The wireless internet is free and fast. There is a full size washer and dryer, bed linens, towels, washcloths, bath soap, hand soap, shampoo, gas grill, fully equipped kitchen, tv with dvd player, nice front and back porches, hot tub and beautiful views. Attention to detail is noted throughout the nicely appointed cabin. Marianne suggested we eat at Stoney Knob (exit 21) and it was absolutely the best!! We definitely plan to spend more time at Ox Glen Vacation Rentals. Thank you Marianne.

Hot tub, hot tub, hot tub !!!

I would recommend to everyone to stay at Extended Pinecone. As you can tell from the title... we loved the hot tub! We were in it every night. The fireplace was great because it was controlled by a thermostat on the wall. All of the beds were very comfortable. Some VRBOs don't stock saundry items; however, this home was very well stocked. My only recommendation to Marianne when we left was that the ceiling fans needed cleaning. She said that she would it care of that. Overall experience was Very Good.
