Mustique Luxury Penthouse, Gulf Shores, Alabama. Mustique is the last tower at the quiet end of West Beach in Gulf Shores. With just two units per floor, you will have the very top westside penthouse for the best sunsets you can imagine, absolutely the most incredible views in Gulf Shores.

Mustique Penthouse 1 is a fabulous unit with an interior designed and decorated by one of Atlanta's finest designers. Every possible amenity including granite counters, stainless steel appliances, huge decks, frameless showers, two jacuzzi tubs, 39 inch LCD HI Def with dvd, surround sound in great room including iPod connections and all the property amenities you could ask for.

The four bedrooms each have a private in suite bath, two with sunken jacuzzi tubs. Each has large closets, their own satellite flat panel tv's and dvds and are decorated differently with a distinctive character of its own.

Mustique's private beach is just steps away from your front door (while we are across the street from our beach, Mustique is actually closer than many local beach front properties) and your outdoor pool looks over beautiful Little Lagoon and your own dock and Gazebo. More amenities include a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and full work out facility overlooking the Gulf. New at Mustique for 2011 is a lagoon-side grilling area with gas grills for your use. There is even a private parking space underneath the building just for the penthouse.

We have done everything we can think of to make this beautiful condominium feel like home for all our guests. We think Mustique is a truly one of a kind experience. We hope you will come enjoy it. Nice condo, would come back again.

We stayed at the condo with 6 adults and 2 small children. They layout was perfect for our group. Each family had their own bathroom and nicely sized bedroom. There were a few cosmetic issues throughout and some odd things with the breakers being turned off. The dryer took 2 tries to dry clothes. The managers were very helpful and friendly. The handyman was also very helpful when i had some questions upon our arrival. the building felt very safe and for being on the main road it was very quite. the private section of beach was clean and peaceful. I did find the cleaning requirements on the rental agreement were the most strict I've ever encountered. They wanted all the towels clean and in the dryer when you left, which made us feel strange, since we would need to wash and dry our hands and faces in the morning and if we were waiting on the laundry someone would need to use the bathroom during that time. I would recommend this rental to a friend and would come back again.

This beautiful condo surpassed our expectations. It was beautifully appointed with gorgeous furnishings and amenities throughout. Our extended family with 6 adult children and 2 grandchildren loved the large living dining area. We love to cook together and found the kitchen had everything we needed for any meal preparation! The views from the balcony were spectacular. We loved the lightning shows from several evening showers and watching the sunsets and brief daytime rain showers move in across the lagoon or ocean. It was a graet week!

My wife,two daughters, son-in-laws and five grandchildren vacationed at Gulfshores Jul7 through July 14. We had not vacationed at Gulfshores before and did not know what to expect or where to stay. We found Mustique Penthouse 1 on the internet and hope for the best. When we arrived we were we very pleased. The unit was absoutley beautiful and well decorated. The panoramic views from the beadrooms, livingroom and patio were spectacular. We will return and recommend Mustique to our family and friends. The owner needs to be congradulated for a job well done in maintaing this unit to a high standard of comfort and beauty. I do have two minor recommendation of a personal note. One, if someone could meet/contact us on the day of arrival to familiarize us with the unit and the area it would add a personal touch and be appreciated. Secondly, the equipment closet in the hall needs to be cleaned out and replaced with newer items. Many of the items seem to be old and abused. However, we did adjust and used what we could and appreciated the cost savings.

Great Place for Family

We rented the penthouse for our family vacation with three of our adult children and their spouses and a new grandbaby.. It was a perfect set-up for us. We each had our own room with bathroom attached, which worked out great. The view is amazing and still close to everything. We really enjoyed renting bikes and riding everywhere. We definitely would rent again. Our only complaint was there is too much furniture on the balcony and in the living room making it a little crowded.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: We like feedback. Sometimes we change things as a result, sometimes we don't. Some of our guests say the penthouse is one of the few places they stayed that had enough seating for everyone to be in the living room or on the deck together! If that isn't what you seek, our 14th floor condo may be just the thing. All the benefits of Mustique with a lighter decor.

Gorgeous Condo with AMAZING views!

Thinking that we had already stayed in one of the best condos in Gulf Shores we effectively had our shoes knocked off walking in to PH1 at Mustique. Breathtaking only partially explains the experience. Each room had a personal touch that made it unique and was a great fit for a family of 12 (4 of which below the age of 7). The common area including the huge kitchen, dining and living area was perfect for easy living and multiple conversations. The bedrooms felt secluded and offered privacy, especially with early rising children. The kitchen allowed 3 and sometimes 4 simultaneous cooks to work their magic preparing a Thanksgiving feast with every imaginable kitchen tool, appliance and accessory (awesome touch). The grounds were maintained beautifully with easy access to the beach. My only worry in writing such a glowing review is that it might not be available for our next stay.
