Secluded contemporary home with cathedral ceilings and spectacular views located on five wooded acres with 240 feet of private lakefront on beautiful Lake Lock Ada five minutes drive from Barryville, NY and the Delaware River. The Lake House has three bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. The master suite has a full bath and a loft with a large whirlpool tub; two bedrooms in a separate wing share a full bath. The Great Room has a floor to ceiling glass wall over looking Lake Loch Ada, a European Fire Box for a relaxing wood fire after a fun day of skiing, cross skiing or swimming other activities. The fully equipped kitchen, outdoor Weber grill, and large dinning area with floor to ceiling glass view of the forest are ideal for in-home dining.

The Lake House is two miles from 1,000 acres of State Forest ideal for jogging, hunting, fishing, dirt-biking, snowmobiling and cross country skiing. My family of 8 recently spent a week at this property, and are already talking about wanting to go back! The house was as presented: clean, well-maintained, and included thoughtful touches such as nice hangers in the closets and soap/shampoo in the bathrooms. The owners were available by phone and very helpful. The kitchen is completely stocked, and the lake has everything one needs to have a great time! Locally, we went banana boating, rafting, and hiking. Highly recommended!

Great Weekend

Just got back from the house this past weekend. Everything was as advertised with other great surprises along the way. The house was clean, and everything functioned properly. The lake was great along with a nice big deck with chairs and a hammock. Couldn't have asked for more out of the house, it had everything we desired. Would definitely book again! Enjoy it.

A very spacious, well-lit property, and clean house perfect for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. It is a very quiet area, where you can go for ages without seeing anyone. Great place to go for walks. And the scenery is very pretty.

Beautiful lake-side getaway

We spent an idyllic long February weekend here ice-skating on the lake, grilling on the patio and exploring the snowy surroundings. The house has all the amenities you could wish for, including jacuzzi and even a toe-warmer by the kitchen sink! It was beautifully clean and very cosy with the fire in the living-room. The view onto the lake was gorgeous and made for a very relaxing change from the city. We visited some local bars and restaurants, and also a near-by ski resort for some snow-tubing (great fun!). Thoroughly recommended, and just a few hours drive from Boston.
