LA COSTA CONDO OVERLOOKING GOLF COURSE

We rented this condo unit for 2 months - February and March 2011. The condo was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations in a number of areas (new appliances, quality dishes/pots and pans, satellite television, high speed internet, propane barbecue, beds, linen, etc.). The condo complex and grounds were beautifully landscaped, well maintained and very secure. We particularly enjoyed the heated swimming pool and hot tub. The location was excellent (close to the beach, estuary, Mega grocery store, downtown San Jose, bus routes) which made it convenient for renters who do not have a vehicle. The maps, brochures and restaurant information in the condo were very helpful. The owners and renters in La Costa were friendly and included us in their happy hours, pot luck dinners (Valentines Day and Easter), and organized outings to Cabo San Lucas and Santiago hot springs.

We highly recommend this condo to others and look forward to returning again someday.

I rented this condo from a web site, and found everything said about it to be true and accurate. The entire facility was immaculate and very easily accessible. While there was some construction going on in front of the unit, it was not messy or noisy..... simply necessary. Other people living there were friendly and fun, and there was always a manager available in case of problems. There were none.
Being on the ground floor, we didn't have an ocean view, but really didn't need one. It's everywhere. The golf course was great and very affordable. The pool left a little to be desired, but it was being worked on. I've been to the area before and know my way around, and I think this condo is in an excellent location. It's minutes from a beautiful beach, a five minute car or bus ride from San Jose (which has some awesome bars and restaurants) and is just far enough away from Cabo san Lucas to make it fun, because you get to see everything else on the drive down there (wouldn't want to stay there}.
This condo offered satellite TV and music, and the owners supplied a wealth of written information on things to do and see. I would stay there again, and I would recommend it to anyone. San Jose is a great place to vacation for all ages because there is so much to do, and the locals really are friendly and helpful. I feel it was well worth the money to stay there, and I highly recommend this area of Mexico to visit, as it is not troubled with all the strife and drug related garbage that is taking place in other parts of the country. You are free to run around around any place you like, and be perfectly safe doing it. My friends and I are 100% pleased with this facility and everything it has to offer.

The description of the location, layout, and amenities was accurate. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owner did provide great customer service. I would recommend this property to friends. However, I would inform them of the noises that do exist from owners that live above. Every time the neighbor above us moved their chairs around (which they did a lot), it would send an awful noise down to our unit. The neighbors above also like to drill a lot, this noise makes you think that you are in a dentist's office. The activities such as four-wheeling and zip lining were a lot of fun.
