On the Beach--Our condo is at The Myrtle Beach Resort, a 33-acre gated community with 24-hour security. The Resort has a Lazy River complex, 4 outdoor pools, 2 indoor pools, steam room, sauna, exercise room, game room, several Jacuzzis, 4 lighted tennis courts, beach cabana and bar, snack bars. Our condo overlooks the Lazy River and playground. We are near fine restaurants, state parks, shopping and flea markets.

The Myrtle Beach Resort is near the intersection of Business 17 and 544. Myrtle Beach State Park is about 2 miles and Huntington State Park is a 20-minute drive. Murrells Inlet, Broadway at the Beach and Brookgreen Gardens are all short drives. We are near two popular flea markets and the Tanger Outlet Mall.

There are wonderful theaters, including the Carolina Opera, the Palace, Alabama Theater, Dixie Stampede. The new Hard Rock Theme park will be open. Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing offer both entertainment and shopping. There are two Tanger Outlet Malls, one on 501 and one in North Myrtle. There are two popular flea markets within 10 minutes of the resort. Murrells Inlet boasts some of the finest restaurants anywhere. Don't miss the Aquarium, Huntington State Park, Myrtle Beqach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens. The ocean is open year-round and offers special delights for each season.
