Okaloosa Island Vacation Rental condo

This condo was a great choice for my family. My husband and I stayed for a week with 6 kids ranging from 4 to 19 yrs old. There was enough sleeping space and living space including the large balcony. The decor was luxurious and the upkeep minimal. Loved the carpet in the 2 brs only. We had plenty of kitchen items supplied and everything was in working order. I especially enjoyed the west facing view as the sun didnt shine into windows in the early morning hours. The condo was right by the stairs which meant quick and convenient trips up and down which lead directly to the middle of the main pool!(and right by a grill). we all loved the lazy river and the pools. the beach was great and the sand white.
The only negative things were that the rooms were not very clean when we arrived.There was alot of dust and trash left under the dressers and beds as well as under the sofas.
And the worse thing was not having teh beach chairs and umbrella reserved! The information stated that it came with the condo but when you got down there the chair guys said if you left it unattended for 45 minutes then anyone had the right to move your things and take your spot!! I have never encountered that! I mean we have 8 people trying to have a "home base" one the beach where the kids can meet up with the parents and we can feel to let the teens wander around...we were hassled with dragging the ice chest around and carting supplies for 8 people plus sand toys to different areas. I thought this was the biggest letdown of all...so much for relaxing at the beach.

all in all, it was great and we are glad we went. We felt it was a little pricey but for what we needed this year it was fine.
