Beautiful sunsets await you in our remodeled two bedroom waterfront cottage. We are on the eastern shore of Oneida Lake, a short distance from the Barge Canal at Sylvan Beach with its variety of restaurants, amusement park, and shopping. Or, if you prefer, spend the day fishing, boating and swimming. Turing Stone Casino is nearby with its famous entertainment, great golf courses, and of course, the casino. Syracuse, Utica and Rome are all a short drive away.

We are newly remodeled and continue to update the cottage. Among the improvements are a remodeled kitchen and a new dock. The great room includes an electric fireplace to curl up in front of and can be used remotely with or without heat. We also offer paved off street parking with a 2 car maximum.

Relax and read a good book while looking over the lake or if you want more excitement in Sylvan Beach you will find the beach, amusement park, Barge Canal, and a variety of restaurants and local events. Swimming, fishing, and water activities are all right off the back porch. The sandy lake bottom makes for a very enjoyable experience and it's a great spot for kids.

Westwind was a charming retreat on beautiful and peaceful Oneida Lake. Clean and warm waters in late June. Shallow shores and soft, sandy bottom for children's play and stress-free for parents. Fun kayaking for the whole family. Kayaking from Westwind to Sylvan Beach (:30 mins.) was a fun adventure! (2 mins. by car :) ) Westwind was clean and comfortable containing the necessities. Bring clothing, beach towels, and food and you are ready for your beach vacation! Enjoyed the convenience of grilling often and relaxing by the firepit in evenings. Wish I was still there . . . Enjoy this lakeside cottage and home-away-from-home as much as our family of 6.
p.s. Enjoyed Pizza King and Canal View during our stay
