Favorite Memoirs of Grand Cayman

The week spent at The London House highly exceeded all of our expectations. The location, layout and amenities of our unit were well appointed and the decor tropical, casually, elegant. The property was lavishly impecable, meticulously maintained and the location could not have been in a nicer section of The World famous, Seven Mile Beach. The quality of service from the manager and staff was superb and friendly. Foster's Supermarket at The Strand shopping Plaza was convenient, very clean and well supplied for all our shopping needs.
I especially loved the sugary white sand beach, which we enjoyed walking every day collecting seashells, one of my favorite beach things to do, the beauty of the sun as it set on the horizon and falling asleep while listening to the waves as they washed along the shore was ever so peaceful. The variety of fish we saw while snorkeling in the tourquise waters right off of the beach were amazing. We traveled the coastline of Grand Cayman from West Bay to Rum Point and felt that although all of it was interesting and scenic, we actually didn't ever have to leave our area for the beauty and tranquility we had at our rental property. I have already highly recommended it to family and friends. Snorkeling with the stingrays at Stingray City through Red Sail Sports was an adventure beyond compare. The stingrays gracefully greeted and swam with us. They virtually allowed us to hold them and felt like huge portabello mushrooms! The crew provided us with a snack of fruit-ka-bobs between the two snorkel stops, and, as we sailed back to port, a luncheon of tasty wraps of tuna and chicken, fresh green salad and a yummy pasta salad were served. We experienced the delicious local fare at The Champion House Restaurant in Georgetown and dined al fresco at The Wharf, Alfresco's, Cafe Havana's at the Westin and The Marriott's oceanside restaurant. All were excellent. We spent a few hours after dinner of our final night at the Royal Palms enjoying the musical sounds of a live, local band while sipping tropical concoctions. Our only displeasure and sadness was having to say goodbye, but now, this vacation, is by far among our favorite memoirs and hopefully, God willing, we will return to Grand Cayman someday and know exactly where we will be staying! Thank you, London House, for your warm and gracious hospitaity and making our visit to Grand Cayman so special and memorable.
