A beautiful A-frame with a view of all sports Otsego Lake. 2-3 bed, 1 bath with open staircase to a spacious loft. Sit back & relax on 1 of 3 decks & watch the sun or moon rise over the lake, sit by the campfire or get comfy in front of the gaslog fireplace. Comfortably sleeps 6 with service for 8. ALL bath, bed & kitchen linens provided. DSL, cable & DVD player in all rooms. There are many local activities year round, check with the Gaylord Chamber of Commerce. Spectacular July 4th fireworks over the Lake (right outside the front door), a short walk to roped off swimming area & beach, Alpinefest; a week long festival in mid August. Or, pick up a snowmobile trail; via Otsego Lake or a short ride on the roadside to nearest trailhead, connecting to 100's of miles of trails or ride to the sled races on the weekend. Several resorts to choose from for skiing & snowboarding. There are several unique shops downtown or larger stores, to choose from. Fun for all ages, any season of the year!

Charming Cabin near Otsego Lake

My family rented this cabin for a week. We had a great time, the cabin was very clean and very well kept. The loft and living room gave it a great up north feel yet it also had a home feeling, very well decorated. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the County Park where we kept our boat and went swimming. The cabin provided everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed bon fires out in the back, had plenty of room for our family and extended family to stop out to visit in the evening. The loft was great, the foosball table and other games kept us entertained during our stay. The only issue we had was not being able to use the wireless internet but being up north with Otsego Lake so close we kept quite busy swimming, fishing and boating! We have already recommended it to family and friends.

We really enjoyed this spot. The cabin is brand new, immaculately clean and everything you need is there for you. Beds are super comfy, we slept amazingly well. Beautiful interior, outstanding views from the loft!!!!!! Although it's not right on the lake it is across a path and you can see the lake from the living area or walk a few hundred feet to a public access with a nice little beach. Very quite this time of year, stunning fall color and central to everything. We drove over to Petosky for the day which was only about 40 min, lot's of options for daytrips as well as close access to snowmobile trails in the winter. All in all a great trip!!!! We'll have to check it out in the summer as the lake is quite beautiful.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
